Woke up at: 5:00 AM


DREAMTIME: 20 minutes of perceived dream time.



Pre-Dream State:

Yup, this is a WILD. Okay, so I went to bed at 12:00 AM, but I had also fallen asleep for 4-5 hours beforehand, so I think I was in a state where I could easily initiate REM even if I didn't want to, and I did.

Out of nowhere, my body began to shift into REM Atonia (Or as I and many others like to call it, Sleep Paralysis) and I began to hear slight snippets of audio as I'm making the transition. I also began to see small flashes of light, and my body also felt like it was convulsing WILDly. I was almost scared shitless, the only saving grace being I knew I was going to transition into a dream at the end of it. I was scared that hallucinations of demons would pop up out of nowhere, but I had to keep my eyes shut and suppress those thoughts as hard as I could.

For what seemed like an eternity of blaring lights, body shifting, and small noises, I had finally, finally transitioned into an LD. I think it only lasted for 30 seconds, but shit like that makes you REMEMBER stuff goddammit.




Dream:

Anyway, I transition into a sort of dungeon lit by torchlights. For some reason there are girls in front of me that are inside giant Tabasco sauce bottles (Don't ask). I walk up to one of the girls (I think she was brunette, about my age) and tilt the bottle forward, and somehow end up covering her with chili powder. I don't know if my subconscious was being clever or not but here you go.


The other girls next to her laughed and proceed to egg her on about the whole thing, but my eyes were fixated on another row of girls to the right, this time not inside of oversized spice bottles. I think of striking up a conversation with them, but I dismiss the thought entirely, and end up walking up to some kind of large metal door with orange trim.


I walk through the door to find myself in a wide open tundra. It is the most beautiful, yet the most frightening thing I have yet encountered. My mind begins to race with thoughts of freezing up and dying in my own dream, but I suddenly begin to realize how null my body is to the cold, and my worries melt away. I keep traversing this surreal white acropolis (Thumbs up if you get the reference) when I come across a nice, temperate looking area with orange grass and where you can see the sunset.


It is almost alien in appearance. The saturated orange color of the grass itself accompanied by the fact it was right next to a frozen landscape. It was also a mountain high up in the sky, to add to the craziness.


I wind up finding a couple of my real life friends (Though I can only remember one clearly(Let's call him E)). I talk to 'E' for a bit, Lord knows what the hell I was talking about, but the tone of the conversation seemed to be pretty lax all in all. And no, I didn't try to convince him it was a dream.


I try to fly in this dream, but end up stumbling in the air (If you can picture that) and falling right back down.


I go back to the frozen landscape I was in, and get lost in thought as I lose lucidity and thus lose the dream.



NOTES

1. My memory of the LD seems to be highly muddled by my other dream that I had right after this one, so details are a bit sparse.

2. This was most definitely a WILD.

3. The LD seemed pretty long (About 20 minutes or so). I didn't need to do any reality checks along the way either as I seemed to have a consistent level of lucidity throughout.

Method: V-WILD

I was standing in the middle of an icy, frozen tundra. Nobody was around me. I could fill the chill of the air all over my body. The sky was a vivid gray. It was glowing and seemed to light everything around me. This scene was so vivid, I almost forgot I was dreaming. I stood there staring at everything in awe for a good minute before I remembered what I wanted to do. The Task of the Month. Find the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future and experience what they have to show you.

"Show me the ghost of Christmas's Past." I said.

Fog shot across the tundra, rolling rapidly toward my feet. A woman appeared next to me. She had a long, white dress that flowed into the breeze. Her eyes were a stunning violet.



"Are you the Ghost of Christmas Past?"
"No. I am simply here to summon him."

She pulls this HUGE black cauldron out of her small pocket and climbs inside. I hear a sizzling sound coming from it and I looked inside. She pulls me in and I am suddenly standing inside of my old house in California. There is a big Christmas tree in the middle of the room. My parents are standing off to one side, my brother + sister on another, and baby me is in the middle. I look happier than the happiest person on Earth. I don't look entirely the same like I did back then, my face is a little deformed. The lady seems to be gone and next to me is this green ball of energy. I assumed that this was the Ghost of Christmas Past.

The current gift baby-me is opening is glowing. The top explodes and out of nowhere comes my old friends from California.

"HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY!"

The tree is gone but the presents remain. Baby-me is way more distorted now. If I remember correctly, I had three legs. My parents look up and glare at the current me. They mumbled words that I could not understand. Baby-me was acting possessed and the whole dream was turning into a crazy nightmare. I ripped a hole in the air and teleported myself back to the tundra.

The lady was staring at me. She did not say a word. Two dots appeared on her forehead. She told me to touch them. Her skin was ice cold. I was standing in my best friend's house. She was crying and her mom was yelling at her telling her how ugly she was. Her mom was obviously drunk and was forcing her own insecurities on my best friend. This time a blue ball of energy was next to me. It told me that I had the power to change what was going on. I told my best friend I would take her to her dream cruise in the Bahama's. I touched her arm and we teleported on this cruise ship. In front of us was a big pool and waterslide. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. My best friend looked much happier now.

The blue ball of energy shaped itself into a chair. It mentally told me to sit on it. I did and I was blasted into the water. In front of me was a door. When I entered it I found myself in a dark room stacked with boxes. Each box was marked 'choice'. I opened one and There was a stack of candy canes in it. In another, watermelons. They were all different types of food but didn't seem to have any real significance.

I found ice skates laying off to the side and swam back to the cruise ship. I was at the very top of the ship and made the whole ocean freeze. I summoned a box of ice skates and told everyone there would be an ice skating contest. I probably jumped 100 feet off the ship onto the ice and started ice skating. XD. I noticed one person was literally using two other people as ice skates. The Ghost of the Present was ice skating. After a few minutes of this I teleported myself back to the tundra.

A helicopter was waiting for me. Inside was a red ball of energy with a glowing yellow center. We took off and the pilot handed me a backback with a string coming out the side. He told me it was a parachute. We were skydiving! I looked over the edge. We were right above New York City. The helicopter was about as tall as the Empire State Building. I jumped out and felt like a leaf blowing through the wind. It wasn't a fast fall but a slow and gentle one. I landed on the roof of a hospital.

Someone who looked pretty similar to me was standing in front of me. He told me to follow him. He led me to an Operating Room and I watched him do an open heart surgery on a baby boy. The heart looked extremely realistic. This was my dream job. After what seemed like 5 or 10 minutes the red ball of energy nudged me and I was taken back to the tundra.

The lady looked at me and touched my face. I was on the moon, I think. My grave was in front of me. There were no words on it I could understand. They were all blurry. Out of nowhere I was thrown to the ground and as I looked up the lady was driving full speed at me with a go kart. What the hell?



I got in it with her and I started driving. She was earthbending the moon and made a big ramp for me to dive off of. I could see Saturn in the distance and jumped from the moon to it. The kart started to fall REALLY fast and everything got super blurry until I woke up.

I hardly remember the beginning of this dream. I remember being in this tundra-like place, and there was a girl with me. She reached down and touched the snow and said it felt warm (since she was from Mars, and Martian winters can reach temperatures of below -200 degrees Fahrenheit at night... I learned that last night IWL).

I don't remember how, but I somehow ended up on a beach. I have no idea what happened to that girl. Anyway, I ended up finding two turtles at some point and taking them with me. I think they were painted turtles (or something similar, at least).

I started exploring and soon came across a village full of school bus houses. That is, each house was made from a school bus. Some were red, and some were blue. I don't think there were any yellow ones, though. I thought they were really cool, since I'd never seen a school bus house before.

Later, when I was outside of the village, I noticed one of the turtles was really cold, so I wrapped it in a blanket. I asked the turtles if they wanted to go back to the water, and they said yes. There was a creek nearby, so I decided to let them go there. It was really muddy, though, and I ended up getting mud up to my knees. I decided I should find some clearer water instead. The water was a bit clearer at the end of the creek (seriously, it just ended not far away... and, no, it didn't empty into anything; it just stopped), so I went there to wash the mud off my legs.

I remembered that the water was crystal clear at the beach where I had found the turtles, so I decided to go back there to release them. I woke up before I got there, though.

[Tried a WBTB + SSILD again today, falling asleep took longer than yesterday, but after all i was successfull ]

I slept for like 1 hour when i woke up from a dream and i was still in Sleep Paralysis, which was nothing new to me. So i decided to DEILD my way into LD
It didn't took long until i opened my eyes and found myself in the dream, fully lucid.
What was before my eyes was totally AWESOME. I was floating high in the sky and a huge colorful world was opened before me. It looked a little similar to the movie AVATAR, there were colorful plants everywhere, beautiful green grassed tundras and jungles were all around.
The inhabitants of this world were different kinds of HUGE monkeys, apes... The smaller ones were big as a car and the biggest ones reached the height of whole buildings. There were also colorful birds flying around in the sky and bees and different insects doing their work

The monkeys looked like they were the owners of these lands, they were walking, running around in smaller groups, or just sitting and sleeping under big trees. It looked like they don't really get competition.
I had a plan for today that i want to summon an extraordinary creature [i already knew what creature, but that's a secret for now], so i wanted to find a calm place where the monkeys can't find me and interrupt me.
I started flying around and wanted to pass through a huge rock wall, but by reflex i closed my eyes when entering the rock, so i woke up. [But i was able to come back to the dream the same way as i did in the beginning].
After i was back in the dream again, i was standing on the ground in the big grass and a group of monkeys and apes were coming slowly towards me in a line, but it was obvious that they didn't care about me, they just wanted to pass by.

I decided to turn to super speed and run away and find a safe place faster. As i passed near the monkey group, the first 4 of them didn't do anything, they didn't even look at me. But then i've got a feeling that the 5th one, the biggest ape which had reddish fur and looked angry planned to hit me when i pass by him, so i jumped when i reached him. He didn't hit me at all though.
After this i was going at full speed again and looked behind my back just in case.... Now i suddenly noticed that there was a huge black ape coming after me at full speed and was growling loudly. I got really scared at first at the sudden appereance of him, but then i jumped up in the air just before he reached me.
I landed on a column, which didn't look like it would fit this world, it was just an usual concrete column.
The ape smashed it's head against a wall-like thing and i woke up again just at this moment, not sure exactly why.
[I went back to the dream again, using the same method as twice above].

When i got back into the dream again, i was up high the sky, standing on a cloud and i even had feathered white wings. All i've seen was white clouds everywhere and some kind of altar a little further on another cloud. I didn't care about the altar, because i still wanted to do my summoning, so i just flew down and wanted to get back to the monkey world. I passed through the clouds easily, but then i noticed a huge glowing purple-black energy field like something floating below the clouds... It looked like something evil took over the world... I tried to fly through it, but the darkness took over me and i woke up again...

[After this i couldn't go back anymore, because i wasn't in SP and accidently moved my feet...]
[This was a kinda memorable dream for me, even while i couldn't do much, that world was just so interesting ]

The setting was a vast snowy tundra with rolling hills and some scattered alpine forests. It was a blizzard out and my friend Derek and I were standing outside the gates of a large city. The city was very futuristic in design, with spiral and dome shaped buildings and large arcologies. it was cool though because the city was surrounded by a large ancient stone wall, like it'd been around for centuries, allowing society and technology to develop around the antiquity.

So me and my buddy Derek were each riding a Covenant Ghost from the Halo series. We decided to race to another city across the plain and took off. He was in the lead for a while as we sped over the rolling tundra. I remember pulling ahead after launching off a steep cliff and over some pine trees, which made us neck and neck the remainder of the race. I ended up winning (probably because it was my dream haha), and shortly after my victory I woke up

I haven't been uploading my DJ entries lately, because my recall went a bit haywire, and then I just couldn't be bothered typing out the really long dreams I've been having but I will upload this one! The FA I had at the end unfortunately messed up my recall of this one a bit.

I don't quite remember how I entered this dream, I was at my house. I knew I was lucid for quite a while, but I wasn't taking full control. I was with a group of my friends, including Toby. We were in the family room of my house, and they were trying to distract me and make me re enter the dream plot. I decided I was sick of it,
"Go!" I yelled, and raised my hand and watched them all disappear. I'm not sure, but I believe Toby may have actually stayed, even though I got rid of the rest of them.

I remembered that I needed to ground myself, and I was surprised I'd forgotten for this long. I was outside in my backyard, and bent down to feel the texture of the pavers. I looked around my backyard, trying to take in things in my vision and trying to see as much detail as I could. I breathed deeply, and thought about how I should increase the limits of my vision again. It was sunny, and as I increased my vision to a hyper-realistic field of view, everything transformed into this magnificent glowing orange colour. I don't think I've ever seen a colour like this before, it was like everything was bathed in this orange/red glow, while at the same time looking normal. I was quite happy with myself for being able to do it at will this time.

I then went back inside, still taking in my senses, though moving too fast because I was overwhelmed. I remembered I had to get to the lake, and figured this time, I would use my glass sliding doors as a giant portal. I looked at the doors, and willed them to transform. Various scenes appeared: a tundra, a dense green forest, and then small patches of the lake started to shine through. I think I focused too hard on the doors, I started to lose my grip, and I exited the dream.

I woke up in my bed, and completely forgot to RC or even write it down in my dream journal. My memory of this is quite blurry, but I know I texted Forceez about it, telling him I'd just had another lucid dream!
The rest of this FA lasted for a very long time, and my dad was clearing out the garage. My bathroom cabinet was in the middle of the right wall of the garage, and my parents were telling my how I needed to cut my earlobes for the holes in my ears to fully heal. I had a false memory of having had my ears pierced before, and unpiercing them and being left with tiny holes in my ears.

We proceeded to snip from the lobe up to the hole in my ear, leaving me with two dangling bits of flesh. It didn't hurt at all, but the skin felt squishy and dead, and I wondered if they would ever join back together properly.
When I woke up and started to recall this dream, I'd originally forgotten I'd had a lucid. I took myself back through the dream until I remembered texting Forceez. It was then I wondered "what did I text him about" and remembered I'd had a lucid!

Lucid Dream 228: Origin of the Muskox
Series: Land of Dreams, Episode 12

around 5:00am



There was a group of us standing around a camp fire. We seemed to be in an extreme northern climate. It was cold, I could see snow covered mountains in the background, and very few trees/plants around the area. The ground was covered in a very light skiff of snow that seemed more frost-like than actual snow. Jacob Black (from the Twilight series) was there at the campfire along with several other DCs I did not recognize. We had tents set up and I was looking for the bottle of vodka I had brought. After searching for a bit, I randomly became lucid.

I stepped out of the tent and looked around. The environment was incredible. Suddenly, Jacob ran up to me with an excited look on his face. He said, "Dude, lets go throw some spears!" I was now curious, so I followed him over to a large area. There was now a Muskox with us and another guy with blonde hair. There were a pile of spears laying on the ground. I saw Jacob pick up a spear and throw it. It stuck a good distance out in front of us. The blonde guy threw his spear and it landed several feet short of Jacob's. I watched as the muskox grabbed a spear, stood up like a human and launched it. It was a really shitty throw. It was very wobbly and started curving to the right. The spear spiraled down and stuck right into Jacob's shoulder. He hit the ground and I started laughing at the situation.

I threw my spear, but it disappeared off into the distance. I decided to throw another one and try not to cheat with my lucidity as much. It landed in the same general area as the first two throws. I walked over to Jacob and saw that he had removed the spear. His arm had a huge gash and was bleeding badly. I could see muscle and bone in the deep wound. He shook it off and we walked to the next tee box. It was set up just like a golf course, only we were throwing spears. Jacob threw a very short throw with his mangled arm. The blonde kid had a decent throw and then I threw and landed right on the flag stick. I then watched intently as the muskox threw. He launched another horrible spear that wobbled and curved way off course. This time I saw the spear flying toward the blonde kid. The spear was spinning around in a circle and sliced the kid clean in half. It looked like a mortal kombat fatality. I thought, "Holy shit!" Everyone just ignored that this happened and we continued to the next tee box. On my way to the next tee box, I walked by the pile of body parts and blood that once was the blonde kid.

Once we got up to the next tee box, Jacob cried out in pain and clutched his shoulder. Suddenly, he collapsed and a muskox climbed out of his shoulder wound. I heard a strange noise and turned around. Another muskox emerged from the bloody pile that was once the blonde kid. The muskox gathered in front of me and started all throwing spears. They were all terrible throws and some curved backwards right for me. I realized that they were trying to birth another muskox using me as the victim. I took flight and started dodging the flying spears with ease. I caught one of the spears and then swooped down at one of the muskox. I sliced it in half and it burst 100 tiny muskox. These tiny muskox attacked the other two full grown ones and started eating them alive. I thought to myself, "This has got to be one of the strangest sights ever..."

The tiny muskox army devoured the two larger ones in seconds. They then started running for the campsite. I flew over to the campsite and could hear screaming from the tents. After a few moments the muskox had devoured everyone at the campsite as well as the tents, sleeping bags, and whatnot. They all jumped into the campfire one after the other and seemed to be sacrificing themselves. I awoke as I watched this strange event.
