    1. Weird Lighting Tricks and Moving to a Roof, Before Doing Courier Work in Warehouse

      by , 08-23-2017 at 03:28 PM
07-25-2017 -- Strange all over the place dream, kind of disjointed. At one point I am waking up in mom and dad's room, and it is the middle of the night. I end up glancing out the window across the street, and notice a strange, pale blue light across the street, where somehow the area between Albert's house and Vinnie's house seems to have been built up into one big house. I know this is strange, and as time goes on, and the sun comes up, I keep glancing over at it. Somehow the dark of night made it look like the two houses had merged into one large house, but as more light is thrown on the situation, I can easily see they are still the two separate houses they've always been, with nothing to show why I thought they had merged together. Strange.

As I more fully wake up, I find myself in a new house that I've moved to. This one is supposed to be two story, but somehow I find myself rooming on the third floor. It is a little hot, and only comfortable because of a breeze. I soon find myself needing to go to the bathroom, and I start to try to pee in a bottle, but somehow it is not working, and I find myself peeing on the floor. I am a little worried about it, until I realize that there is indeed no third floor, and I find I have set up my bed on the roof, which is a flat roof with about a four foot wall around it. The roof is open air, outside, so somehow the fact that I am peeing on it is ok.

It seems to be a good-sized building, maybe about 100 feet by fifty feet or so, and I end up peeing my way around the entire building, and am slightly amazed that I have enough pee in me to pee around the whole perimeter. At first I am worried that someone might see me from surrounding buildings, but none are taller than mine, though some are as tall, so the angle shouldn't let them see over the wall enough to see what I am doing. In some way I feel like I am marking my territory. It's very strange.

Anyway, after I've finished that odd bathroom break, I find myself looking around at the 'room' I've formed for myself. The only things I have moved up here so far is my bed and a couple of pillows, but I start thinking. I know it has been raining almost daily, and trying to live here on the roof, I am going to get soaked, and my bed is going to get ruined. I have to move back into the house, and take a room on the second floor. So I open the hatch in the roof, and start to shove the mattress and box springs back down into the house, while also trying to keep a cat (marmalade, I think) from climbing out onto the roof, for fear of leaving it stuck out there.

The house is very hot, with little or no air conditioning, and I find mom (or perhaps Rosemary or Pat Q.) and try to explain why the roof won't work, and I'll need to take a room on the second floor, though I may try and get a plastic lounge chair and some water-proof pillows to put on the roof. But somehow I have opened a second hatch, and dumped the mattress and stuff down to the first floor, and find myself talking to another person in the house (no idea who), moaning that I've gone to the wrong floor, haven't I, and that now I am going to have to haul a very heavy mattress up a flight of stairs, just to manage to get it back up to the second floor.

Somehow I then find myself in a warehouse area that is somehow connected to the house, and they are hauling around large stacks of paperwork that have been banded together with those tough metal bands, or in some cases, just stacked in tall boxes, about 16" square by perhaps three feet tall. It seems they need to have a couple of boxes moved elsewhere, and are asking somebody if they would be willing to run them to the other place as a sort of courier, and I'm not registering it at first, but it is me thy are asking, but when I don't respond, they start to ask somebody else, who claims because they have to watch a pet or something, they won't do it, while I am trying to say I will, now that I understand they were asking me. Very strange.

Anyway, it's more or less settled, and they start to load up their forklifts to put various pallets of paperwork back where they belong, but one of them has accidentally picked me up with the pallet, and is hoisting me higher and higher into the air, and I am trying to call out about it, but I have no voice, and they don't seem to hear me. I try to wave my arms out far enough the forklift driver can see it, but it doesn't seem to register that there shouldn't be an arm waving out of his stuff. By this time, I am beginning to wonder if they know I am here, and if it is just a prank. I don't know.

Soon I am back on the ground, and am walking the two big boxes they want me to transport through the warehouse, as if they are on rollers. I move them through the warehouse to the office portion, and push them into the office area, then go wandering off for a few seconds to try to talk to the lady from earlier (about the wrong floor), but when I go back to find the boxes, they have no disappeared, and I know I am going to be in trouble for losing them. I'm running around trying to find them and getting more and more stressed about them. Odd.

      First dream

I was in an abandoned airport close to New York. I've seen the city on the other side of water. I had my base set up in a ruined plane. The world was overtaken by plants, animals. In the morning I took my raft and swam to look for food and other resources. After whole day of exploring empty streets and ruined buildings I found nothing, except a group of other survivors.

It was dark night. They took me to their base, where I met other members of my family and some pals. They set up their base in building similar to my house, though it was better furnished and prepared to hold more people inside. We gathered for a dinner and sat near a huge table. When they were giving the dishes, my aunt went out of the kitchen with a pot of soup. She said "Watch your grandma! She put her denture inside the pot with soup!" Sister replied to her "But our grandma has no denture!". Grandma smiled widely, exposing her only one tooth left. Then I was eating and listening to them talking about politics. I knew what they wanted to say just before they told it.

Second dream - tower escape DILD

Spring day, the sky was cloudless. With group of random DCs we took a raft and swam to other side of river, to huge warehouses. There were many machines, cranes and stockpiles set up in orderly manner. We decided to make the tallest and probably most valuable stockpile fall down. We just moved one can of paint and it started to fall. We ran away back to raft and swam to other side of river. Next I've seen from someones perspective that warehouse workers were talking about a revenge.

Cloudy afternoon. I was back in frontyard of my house. I decided to look back at river and warehouses - the river was enormous, I couldn't even see the buildings. I could see a gigantic tower made of random stockpiled objects. I went closer to shore, which was just in front of my house. Warehousemen started to throw golf balls at me, and they had impressive strenght and accuarcy. I dodged most of the balls or blocked them, but some still managed to hit me. It was quite painful. I heard warehousemen shouting "This tower shall fall!".

I decided to run away before it would crash me. When I was in my backyard, I took a look at the tower again. From an enormous stockpile it turned into a huge tower made of red brick, reaching for the clouds. I realized that it's a dream and flewn up to the roof of father's carpentry workshop. I looked at the tower and thought "You are not real. I can unmake you!" I looked behind me and at the tower again. There was a huge gap in the middle of it, but sides of the tower were left.

I tried to do it again, but this time the tower was ruined and burning. Another try and it turned into a tower with chinese ornaments. I thought that if I can't remove it, I may just escape from it's fall. I turned towards neighbor's side and saw a huge mountain on the horizon. I thought that this must be a place safer than these roofs. I looked back at the tower, it hasn't changed. I looked at the mountain, and it was gone. There huge haystacks in it's place. Looking at my backyard I saw a big rock, I tried to alter it's height by previously used look method, but it was still too small.

I decided to run climb up the neighbor's garage roof. While climbing i thought "Now I'll need a dramatic escape music... violin!" And the violin started to play. It wasn't a best performance, but wasn't terrible either. I climbed up garage's roof and jumped down to roofs of chicken coops. They were made of really weak materials. At first I thought that they'd crush under my feet, but then I thought "These are harder than steel, I can jump on them and they won't crush as well!"

I ran to the end of chicken coops and jumped forward, landing on a roof of chinese temple. I climbed it up, and saw a spacious lake. I flewn to the other side of it and landed in a lakeside building. I turned back and watched as the tower was falling. It have fallen really fast. It have fallen into the lake... and nothing. I thought "What? Shouldn't there be a huge water wave after the tower have fallen down there?"

The water started to bulge, raise and whirl, gathering in a huge wave. I gestured with my hands and the water started to lower and calm. Looking at the lake I noticed that it was covered with ice, and there was only a small hole made by the top of the tower. I pointed my index finger and the hole covered itself with ice.
I walked the shore for a while and woke up.
    3. Witch

      by , 06-08-2015 at 03:44 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
With my DC sister we entered a skyscraper placed in harbor. There was a woman in a black suit inside. With sister we were on a balcony placed two floors higher than the witch. I knew she'll use her powers against me, so I took a weird, black wand out of my pocket.

Instead of firing a spell at the witch, I ate the wand. It tasted weird, from bittery to sour. I barely digested it, and then the witch smiled to me. There were some windows in front of us, and I saw two enormous ships sailing off.

I told to my sister "Piss off Poseidon!" Suddenly waves powered by mystical particles striked the ships down, but the guards appeared and took me and my sister. They chained me to a pole in the middle of skyscraper. To free myself, I jumped, made a flip in the air, touched the ceiling with my feet and the chains broke.

I ran away to warehouses, sneaked past guards and took a heavy bag out of hidden stash. Then I escaped.
    4. Bears and Elephants in the Warehouse

      by , 02-05-2013 at 06:11 PM
02-05-2013 -- I'm in the Hickory house, and somehow I am here with Juliet (Psych) and her brother (played by John Cena). There is some really odd stuff, like broiling pillows in the over or something, yet they aren't burning, but just getting very hot. I really don't know what was going on, this was the first part of the dream, and I may not have been fully into REM yet.

Soon I am at the strip mall at the corner of La Palma and Magnolia, and I am heading down Magnolia toward Peter Marshall Park, when I spot a drainage ditch starting at the edge of the street, going under Greenleaf and right into the park. I drive into it and follow along.

Soon I find myself in a warehouse I've dreamed of before. It is a large warehouse, I work there, and the bosses are particularly unfriendly and miserable. We are working the North docks, perhaps loading up trucks. There is a little kid here who is screaming for his daddy, but his daddy is off working in a different portion of the warehouse. I'm worried if the kid doesn't shut up, he's going to get he and his daddy in trouble with the bosses.

I'm kind of wandering around part of the warehouse while our team is being ordered to move over to the West docks and help with the unloading going on there, as they have turned off the lights in the part of the warehouse we've been working in. [Hints of the moving around at APAC.] I can remember the last time they did this, and I was not with the group, being hunted and chased throughout the warehouse, so I'm trying to get back with the group as quickly as I can, but I end up in just the wrong area.

I find myself standing right under the conveyor belts which are removing full pallets of stuff off the trucks, raising them to about 40 feet in the air, and then dropping them to land (hopefully in neat rows) on the floor, below. Unfortunately, I am right on that portion of the floor, so I am dodging about, trying to avoid having these heavy pallets land on me, and moving further and further south, trying to get out from under the dropping products.

Eventually I do get far enough out of the way, only to run into another problem. Here they are not unloading the trucks, but there are rows and rows of pallets that have already been unloaded, waiting to be stored in the warehouse, and instead of using fork lifts to move them, like in the rest of the place, they have large elephants wrapping their trunks around them and moving them. So me and my crew are facing a large herd of elephants that are slowly walking toward us, and we are backing away, not wanting to be crushed. The elephants are moving faster, and soon we are running, but our running is triggering a stampede, and the herd of elephants are thundering behind us.

Soon we're running into the racks of products, dodging this way and that, the elephants right behind us, when I get the idea to actually dive into the racks, climbing on top of some of the boxes to get out of the way. Problem is, the elephants turn into large bears (possibly brown, possibly grizzly) and a couple of them are climbing into the racks after me. I'm horrified, but think to myself that if they are trained to work in the warehouse, they probably can't be all that dangerous when they aren't stampeding, so I just wrap my arms around the two that have been chasing me, and start petting them, and they settle right down.
    5. Hunting Implings, Flying Through a Warehouse, and Facing Captain Hook

      by , 12-24-2012 at 05:18 PM
12-24-2012 -- [Very cool dream, but a lot of running through passageways chasing stuff in a way that there aren't as many details to post as one might like. So a long, great dream that might not make as great a long dream post.]

Starts as almost a kind of live video game, where I seem to be wandering through a park-like area with a bunch of people I know (not friends, not enemies, just acquaintances). There are enough trees that there is a slight wooded feel, but nothing like forest. There are lots of colorful things flying around. The closest I can come is kind of a cross from a snitch from Harry Potter and Impetuous Implings from Runescape. These things come in a variety of bright colors, and look like the little flying imps, but they almost vanish from sight, move 'wicked fast' and make the slight tinging sound of a snitch in the HP movies.

Anyway, we're grabbing for these things, and they're dodging us. There are almost sort of paths through the woods, and I am taking a path further south, while many others are taking paths that are more north, except one other person that is following me south. It is sort of like a competition, and each of us is trying to be the one to grab more of the things. It is slightly messy and gross because we swat them and splat them, and get bits of bug guts all over our hands, but it is certainly kind of fun.

In another comparison to Runescape, the dream seems to slightly merge in strange rocks, as I think there are 15 varieties, and we have to catch two of each of them. But as we keep moving further west on the south path, the wood is soon morphing into a set of hallways in a large building, with hints of a layout kind of like a school, with rows of classrooms separated by narrow hallways, except the entire thing is completely enclosed. There are also hints of many of my old dreams that involve chasing through or hiding in a building, with hints of laboratory to it.

There's lots of running around, chasing these little things, jumping, diving, and generally doing all kinds of stunts to manage to grab each one before the other person does, and it is long, and very fun, but not detailed enough to write about, on a moment-by-moment basis. But it took a while, and was a lot of fun.

Slowly things continue to morph, until the building is becoming more a giant department store, with us running through different departments, and dodging between tall aisles of shelving and clothing racks and the like, again, similar to many chase dreams I've had in like settings, but fun. About this time, there is the first hint of personal flight, though it isn't too big of a deal, and doesn't claim too much of my attention, yet.

We've been moving more toward the east end of the store, but now we turn around, and are heading more west again. The competition is getting less and less friendly, and there is more and more slight hints of me being chased, rather than imps, but it still is fairly friendly. The store aisles are turning more into warehouse aisles, with racks of pallets stretching higher and higher, and the people chasing me becoming more and more military, as the dream begins to feel more and more like a specific warehouse dream I had lately that I will have to track down and try to link to. About this time I think I also run into a large fire-breathing (but flightless) dragon, which I have to dodge around.

So I am heading back to the west side of the warehouse again, and they seem to be closing it down for the day, as all the lights are off, and it is getting more and more dark. They are still running forklifts, however, and they have lights on them so they can see where they are going, as they approach the trucks for unloading.

At this point, I hear Abby Sciuto (from NCIS) calling out to me, and she is kind of hitching a ride on me, somehow half climbing on me, half just attaching herself to me. She thinks I have a forklift, and in the darkness, doesn't realize I'm just kind of half-flying, half-hovering around. But she is calling out to Gibbs and laughing and enjoying herself as I quickly swing through the area and around all the others, before heading back on the path toward the East, lighted end of the warehouse again.

As I reach the other side, I find myself kind of face to face with what seems to be Captain Hook, and he is threatening me. I say something back, which outrages and threatens him, and I am almost sure it is a movie quote, though I can't remember what it was. But anyway, he is challenging me to a fight which will involve flying and sword fighting (very Peter Pan), but it seems to be kind of a play, because he is climbing into a theatrical sort of flight harness, and they are bringing one over in my direction, as well. Need I say they are very shocked when I don't bother waiting, and just begin to fly on my own.

But the dream adapts quickly, and they are still bringing the harness to me, but it is quickly turning into more of a chain, and they are trying to chain me down, or perhaps chain me to the Captain Hook character, who is growing taller and taller by the moment, and is turning into more of a Galactus type of figure. I am dodging the guy with the harness, having my usual problem of him managing to just barely stay in reach, making it difficult to get away.

I finally do manage to break free, and since the Galactus character is now big enough that I have no chance of facing him head-on, I fly back into the warehouse to try and hide from him. Except the building has now turned into a fancy looking office building lined in nice red slate-like tiles, and I am dodging behind pillars and through large bathrooms, trying to gain distance and escape deeper in the building.

I suddenly have a premonition, and know what he's going to do, just before he does it, so I am not terribly shocked when he rips the entire building out of the ground and starts to twist it this way and that, and shake it, so he can manage to shake me out onto the ground where he can stomp on me.

[I know the last part sounds horrible, but the whole thing was neat, and a heck of a lot of fun!]
    6. The Angry Truck Driver and the Soda Warehouse

      by , 10-06-2012 at 08:31 AM
10-05-2012 -- I seem to be standing on a vacant lot at the side of a road in a very empty section of town. I am here with a cute lady who seems to be very depressed, and we are talking about ways to deal with depression, and I seem to be trying to encourage her to just keep going.

Soon I seem to find myself at some sort of diner, and there are some large thugs who seem to be trying to rile themselves up enough to cause trouble. There are vague hints of possible super hero involvement, but nothing concrete that I can actually remember, just a feeling that there was a lot more that somehow vanished from my mind.

I next find myself arriving for a work shift at a security place that seems to be a cross between an OPC plant and some sort of warehouse. I am working my usual security shift, and make a patrol to the back of the property, where I find a truck that is preparing to leave with a load of something. The driver is just about to jump down and unhook some kind of connection between the truck and the dock, and I decide to be kind and help him.

He seems upset, and in convinced that I wouldn't do it right, but all I find myself doing is loosening two very loose knots of string, which don't seem tough enough to hold the truck in any way, regardless. Though he is on the end of the truck talking with me, his truck starts to drive off, and he is yelling at me about the lock. Oddly enough, I feel my pocket, and I do have a pad lock in there. But the truck keeps moving, and the lock is heavy enough that I can't just throw it at the guy.

The truck keeps moving, and I'm overweight and slow, so I can't catch up quickly, but I keep moving toward the gate, sure I can catch up there and give the guy the lock. Problem is, when I get there, I can't recognize him, he doesn't approach me, and Wally calls to me from his forklift, and explains I am in trouble. Turns out the guy was so mad about me 'stealing' his lock that he refused to carry the cargo and just drove off, and now there are going to be all kinds of reports, and I am in big trouble.

I start muttering about how I simply tried to help the guy out, and I certainly won't ever bother doing anything like that again. From now on, anything they want done that isn't security, they can take a flying leap!

I start to patrol the other side of the property, and as I reach the back, I find myself almost in a sort of dance with a small hand-push pallet jack that seems to be operated by remote control, or perhaps self-motivated. Me and a couple of the employees are trying to get out of the way, but it just isn't working.

I finally manage to escape the crazy thing, and am wandering back toward the front of the property when one of the supervisors calls me over to an office in a trailer. They have a form about the incident that they want me to sign. I try to tell them what happened, but they don't even want to hear it. They just want me to sign on what the driver reported before he left, regardless of what actually happened. And the form that they want me to sign, the carbon paper doesn't line up, so it is only going to show up on one copy, anyway. I try to read the form, but none of it seems to make any sense.

I almost leave the form book, but remember it at the last moment and pull it out of the hands of another worker who had picked it up, and return it to the office. By this time I am quite late getting off shift, and just head to the front gate, ready to go home. About this time, one of the female owners starts to make an announcement about how people should let the drivers untie their own trucks, and I realize I am finished at this company. Idiots!

As I walk out the gates, I find I am around the area of Holden and Texas, at the same property I dreamed I was working at in the plague dream a little over a month ago, Here. I walk down the street, passing by a nightclub, and for some reason I find myself having to kind of hop from dumpster to dumpster, and even on a couple of cars to manage to pass by the nightclub's parking lot. The owner of the place seems very impressed, and is demanding to know why his employee (who he seems to be bawling out for not breathing properly) can't be more like me. Weird.

The next property down is a warehouse, where I stop to ask about a job. I know they had nothing the last time I was here, and I am just going through the motions, but even when I explain I am looking for either something clerical or something driving that doesn't need a DOT license, they actually seem interested. They hand me an application to fill out, but like the last form, it is all weird, and hard to read. Soon I find myself trying to write my employment history on a pair of A & W Rootbeer cans, which makes at least a slight bit of sense, since it is a soda warehouse.

    7. The Trees Through the Forest

      by , 09-15-2012 at 06:19 PM
09-15-2012 -- I'm at the Hickory house, where mom has me preparing some weird thing to help save a dying magic tree in the forest in the back yard. Seems to involve taking a furnace filter, placing a leaf from the tree when it was healthy on it, then pouring some kind of magical liquid over it. I wait for the liquid to soak in, then head into the backyard.

Making my way through the narrow forest paths, trying to find this dying magical tree, but at one point I bump into something, and drop the filter. The leaf falls off and into the bits of leaves, branches and so on, and I can't find it again. I just have to hope that it was absorbed enough into the filter to work. Eventually I manage to find the dying tree, and I use the filter on it. It comes back to life, and begins to produce a brilliant red fruit that actually gives off light, it is so bright.

Just wandering around, I walk around a bend in the trail, and find another dying magical tree, this one with a white fruit that is very, very dim. I grab a healthy leaf just under the tree and start running back to mom, hoping she has another filter and some more of the magic liquid. Mom does have the stuff needed, and doesn't mind me saving other trees, but she has some other errands she needs me to do first, so it takes some time to get back out to the tree.

The forest paths are beginning to look more and more video gamish, and I'm starting to have the knowledge in my head that there are either five or seven of these magical trees, each with a different color of fruit, and that I need to find as many as I can, but unfortunately by the time I get back to the white fruit tree, somebody has already claimed it. I start wandering down different forest paths trying to find some of the other ones.

As I continue along, things are shifting. Instead of a forest I seem to be wandering through some sort of industrial complex, and instead of trees I seem to be looking for some sort of weird mechanical eye-like light generator. Still have been the first to find one or two of them, and still looking for a couple that haven't been found yet. And when found and activated, each spills out a very bright, very colorful beam of light into the sky. The things are big, and not easily moved around, but every week they are in a different location, so sometimes there are traces of where they have been in past weeks, but they aren't there now.

I start out in a large warehouse-like building, but soon am checking in smaller and smaller buildings, large tool sheds, service bays, just smaller buildings, still looking for these things. I soon find myself in a large building that seems to be a cross between a flea market building and a large garage with multiple service bays. But I can't find any in here.

I move into another building, and think I finally find another one. There is a guy that is supposed to pay me a small amount, but he doesn't want to pay cash, and wants an easy way to get it taken care off. He wants an account number, but instead I pull out my payment card from Courier Express since I am no longer working for them, and tell him to use it, instead. He takes the card and agrees, asks me to give the information to a lady over there on the computer.

She has a laptop on a small table, and I sit down next to her. She is short, slim, has short brown hair, probably a small chest, but she is quite cute, kind of pixie-ish, and wearing a short mini skirt. As I am sitting next to her I am admiring her legs, and suddenly she is nude. I start with a little caressing, pull her on top of me, and move on to more fun. Soon we're both exhausted and laying on a sofa. I am considering resting a couple of minutes and doing everything again, when I wake up.
