    1. Short DILD Into False Awakening (6.8.14)

      by , 08-06-2014 at 01:14 AM (CHiLLEN's Dream Journal)
      DILD
      7:00am
I'm in a game and I see the enemies shooting their shock rifles towards me. I fire back and try to combo their energy balls before they reach me. Im up higher now in a building and still fighting. I think I become lucid or semi lucid around this point and must wake up shortly after.

I catch the False Awakening. I'm in a house and decide not to do anything fancy but just stay aware of my surroundings and check stuff out. I see a fridge with writing on it and have a look at what it says. It looked like if made sense from a far but as i get closer, I don't think it makes sense. I hear someone in the kitchen and go and check who it is. As I'm about to walking towards the kitchen I think about eating some chocolate. There's shopping bags all over the floor in the entrance and decide to step around them. I see my brother in the kitchen and don't bother worrying about him too much. I look in the fridge and see a cake. I try to get it out but I almost drop it. My brother comes up to help. I forget about the cake and think about something I wanted to do in a lucid dream. I'll try and convince my brother his dreaming. My speaking in lucid dreams as been slurred since starting again and I try to talk. It works no problems this time. I sound pretty clear. I begin to try and work on my brother. I grab him and tell him his dreaming but he tries to walk away and doesn't want to hear it. I tell him to watch what I'm about to do, which was going to be levitating/flying but I never got the chance to do it. [i felt the dream fading multiple times. I didn't stress too much about it and just focus on what I was doing and it bought back the dream clarity]

      Dream Fragment:
      1. Im with Kayley and. Marleigh. I need to buy a letterbox. I check a few out as there's all diff sizes. It's a factory.

      2. Dad must win some money on the horse racers and I ask him about the other week if he had won. He didn't win.

      3. Dad fills the dog bowl with tap water.

      Side Notes:
Struggling to remember dreams. Woke up at 5:30am and couldn't sleep for an hour+ which probably worked as a WBTB. Took sleeping mask off as I struggled to get back to sleep and it seemed to do the job and woke up with eyes closed without the assistance of the sleeping mask. Pretty happy with the small progress in lucid dream length as they usually last under min. This one felt as if it lasted 3 mins. Mantras for RC upon awakening is paying off.
    2. TOTM Possibly? Name In The Sand

by , 07-04-2013 at 06:19 PM (Covlad96's Road to Lucid Dreaming)
I went to sleep at about 01:30 last night and woke up at 07:15, I decided to get a last hour of sleep from 07:30 to 08:30 before I properly got up for sixth form. I had no dreams before this hours sleep and in the sleep I got an LD and completed a task of the month!

      Dream 1

I am in a kayak in the middle of a lake and its once again night time, I'm paddling about and water starts to come inside the kayak. This is where I become lucid and nose plug. It is a dream and I think of what I want to do, I remember thinking of trying the TOTM, I was in the middle of a lake and round this lake was plenty of sand to write my name in. Also I thought I'd attempt the prime minister one after, I couldn't remember what the other two were.

I was then on the shore, behind the sand was a woodland area, it was dark so it was kinda spooky. I knelt down and started writing my name. I wrote 'Ryan' however it turned upside down, it was confusing. So I tried it again, I wrote something before 'Ryan' this time, I'm struggling to recall what it was I think it was 'My name is Ryan.' Anyway this time it worked. Mission accomplished it was time to move onto my next goal.

Now it was time to try and summon David Cameron. I thought to myself, when I turn around David Cameron will walk out of the woods. I was standing just before the entrance to the woods. I turned round and nothing was there. I noticed a note on the tree, like Slenderman haha. I walked up to it and it was a doodle which said 'David Cameron is not here you silly SKET' LOL! This made me laugh.
That is the last I recall.
    3. [Falling In Love With a Loser]

by , 09-11-2012 at 11:36 PM (Searching For The Center of Everything)
[Tuesday, September 11th, 2012] [ND] [Falling In Love With A Loser]
(I took a nap around 11:30am after copying down my dream journal to notepad.)
      It's a Game-show! And I'm on it!
I'm sucked through a flesh-hole into a watery room that fills and empties with water. Breathing underwater doesn't seem to be very hard, because everyone else and I can do it pretty easily. It's a game-show. A pretty made-up actress asks questions to contestants on TV, and a dumb puff-fish answers: "You're attractive." Others answer too. This must be recorded.

I met a little blue sea-horse, she was very sweet and familiar. I grew fond of her instantly. There were problems with her emotional stability; however, she was like the Moon and the Sun sometimes. She was so very unique and harshly beautiful. She was also capable of dark moments. But there was something about her that said I could trust her.

Another contestant: A "black" fish. He was pretty funny, and spent most of the game being an entertainer. There were more contestants, but none that I can recall directly.

Another contestant: Stewie- who could switch form with octopus form. I start the game from HIS perspective. Through his eyes, I win a few games out of pure ingenuity. I'm still in love with the sea-horse through him. After a few game phases, I shift out into my own being again.

I remember an image flashing through my mind of a ripped off limb, an arm gone from the socket, and a leg torn badly.

I remember hearing some characters from American Dad speak...
Wife: "Stan... There's Canadians playing here. Aren't you worried?"
Stan: "This show isn't rigged, it's completely fair! Meaning I have the unfair advantage. I can just kick their ass with my win."

It starts off and the little blue sea-horse and I start the game trusting each other. We help each other and win with each other in mind. But after a few games of trying to impress the little blue sea-horse, she becomes intimidated. She sees me as slightly selfish (shellfish lol). And I must have begun to change, because she didn't like the new me.

I don't remember many specifics of the games themselves unfortunately; I just remember bits and pieces and residue that still lingers...

I end up winning the entire show.
"I WON!" I was the winner! ...I felt kind of awkward saying that for some reason... I dropped on my knees and slid across the arena room's center, throwing my hands up as a sign of revel. But that was awkward too... I looked up at the Little Blue Sea-Horse, she was talking sweet to another puff-fish. I had... lost. The Little Blue Sea-Horse I had tried so hard for, had swam away with the current... and I wasn't sure who to blame but her, the current, or... me? That was the lesson. For anything that happens in life. The only one you can blame is yourself. You are the only one in control of fate, the only one who has the power to change your path. Your destiny exists, it's the most probable one; but if you do nothing, your future WILL fit to a mold. That mold is destiny.

But... If only I had stopped to "listen" to my Little Blue Sea-horse... Maybe I wouldn't have lost her.

The last thing I remember: Emma and I were trying to exit the arena-room through the flesh-hole.
"Well, I guess it's time to leave." I wondered how high up I would have to swim after this. I mean... assuming this place was actually underwater. I couldn't remember how I got in here. I stuck my hand in one of the holes that were in the horizontal line of holes and stretched the skin. I could feel the cold water instantly on the other-side. When I pulled my hand back in, I got to see Emma's head DRENCHED and her hair a mess, her face pale as snow from shock.
"You know, it might help a little bit more if you go out of these feet-first."
    4. The reason I'm a Bastard.

      by , 08-10-2011 at 05:05 PM
Well, it's true isn't it? Once in a while I still have a dream that's worth sharing on here. I had an odd one just before I woke up this morning.

The Reason I'm a Bastard - The first thing I can remember was that I was extremely angry. I was in some sort of suit that made me faster, stronger, and oh, I could fly with a jetpack. Pretty cool. Anyway, I was in the parking lot of my local safeway (supermarket), and the parking lot had apparently flooded for about 4-5 inches of water, and the store had decided to put in a tiny little dock for some reason. I was standing on this dock, staring at a tin container, which opened up to reveal a twisted and disfigured doll who had somehow come to life. I knew I had to put the doll down. It was evil. It walked up to me and said "My parents are dead!". That didn't stop me. "You killed my parents, you little shit." I said, as I grabbed the top of the tin container she had crawled out of and started slamming it on top of her. After a few hits I swung it low and shot her into the water, where she lied there fully submerged. I walked over and looked around for some way to possibly destroy the doll for good. I saw three grandmas wading through the water. I asked the first one "Do you happen to have a lighter?", to which she replied "Of course! Here you go." and tossed me a large, rigged together lighter. It worked though, and I could feel the doll fearing what i was going to do. Now I just needed gasoline. But where would I find that? I asked the third grandma, who replied "Why, I happen to have a container right here." and handed me a small black container filled with gasoline. "You're just going to give it to him?" asked the second one, slightly perplexed. "Well, if he tries to run off with it, I'll just make him pay for it!" the third one said, satisfied with her logic.

As I began emptying the container on and around the area of the doll, who was still in the small lake, a crowd began gathering. I was wondering how I'd light it all, when all of a sudden someone shouted "HEAT SEAKER!". I looked up and saw a missle barreling towards me, and I rolled out of the way just before it could hit me. It grazed the water and then lifted itself up and apparently picked up something else, as it didn't come back. "Damn," I thought, "I've gotta pick this up". With the gasoline poured, I began to lit the lighter and was about to drop it and run away when some random janitor decided it was his duty to clean up part of the gasoline spill. Specifically, the part on top of the doll. For a split second, the doll had an evil grin on its face and thought that it was safe. "Like hell.." I thought, as I quickly pushed some of the gasoline back on top of the doll, who's anger and fury quickly turned back to distress and alarm. I'm pretty sure I said something like "Eat shit", and then pushed the lighter into the gasoline, causing it to burst into flames and then miraculously explode. The doll was destroyed, and I was shot into the air due to the force of the explosion, but quickly used my built in jetpack (Handy, huh?) to gain control and then land. The audience that had gathered applauded as if it were some fourth of July show.

So, to answer any questions, yes, I did just dream about beating the shit out of a doll and then blowing it up, while wearing some sort of super suit. It either makes me awesome or insane, and I'm not quite sure which one yet.
    5. The Underwater Race (03/05/2011)

      by , 05-03-2011 at 07:23 PM
In this dream, I was in for a long series of races in a highly oxygenated form of water (only without bubbles of any kind). You could actually breathe in this water! As the race started, you were at a corner somewhere in this area on a platform with, I think, about 5 to 7 other racers. When the race started, the platform lowered you into the water. For almost every time in this dream, I held my breath all the way through this course. I was so much slower than everyone else was and bullies constantly picked on me in this dream. Though I managed to find my way weaving even by some underwater pizza restaurants and the such. At the end, you were bursted out and thrown up a ways. The finish line was just ahead. I had the special ability of gliding in this dream. What time I lost in the water, which was a serious amount, I made up for gliding as I could easily reach a speed 4 to 5 times faster than one could run, yet, even with this big advantage, I was almost always dead last in the race.

In the next race, basically the same thing occured, and I ended up in the same finishing position, near or at dead last. The bullies every time picked on me and every time the glide at the end saved me a few times from being dead last. I got used of the bullies and found a way to get in 5th place out of 8. While the burst up was occuring, start as fast as I could in the water before the burst. This gave me a like 4-mph extra speed for about 8 or so seconds, enough to give a boost of nearly 47 feet, a significant gain, though hardly anything.

Finally, just before the dream ended, someone told me that you could breathe in that water. I also told the bullies that were picking on me to shove it aside. Though, as the race started again, I think, the fifth or sixth time the race occured, I tried to breathe in the water and it worked well. Yet, I was now 30% faster holding on 4th place in most of the race, occasionally getting 3rd and 5th. In all cases of this dream, I already knew of a racing tactic: hug the sharp corners as much as possible and take the most direct route possible. Then, when I bursted out, because I was 30% faster, I was going about 5 mph coming out giving me a much bigger boost of 58 2/3 feet. Here, because my gliding ability saved me big, I came in first in the race! The bullies were extremely upset that I won and they came in 3rd and later. The friend that helped came in second. It was such a peaceful and amazing ending, so much I wish I could revisit the dream [thus hoping it reoccurs as a few of my dreams have].

    6. "It really is cursed"

I'm at a nightclub. In some way I buy and sell aircrafts. Always something bigger. Suddenly, I have 11.3 million on my bank account. I know because I somehow check it on a computer. I go and dance in the club, it feels like the dream is very long, just being in the club. I tell a girl from my class that I have won much money. Her reaction is not caring at all. I go back to my hotel room and get a message by Tommy at work, he writes in English: you may have to confirm. He will pick us up, me and another for some reason. There's a lot of things I assume to know here. A picture of a large building comes into my head. Large Roman columns outside and a large staircase. It kind of overlaps the current dream, like my last dream.

I find myself suddenly in a dream I've had before, long ago. There is a room in a hospital that is cursed. A force grab patients and knock them wall to wall in a tight hallway into the room. I go in and also get smacked between the walls, but I manage to go all the way into the room. They say that MRI machines are on the other side of the walls each side of the hallway and that tattoos smack patients to the walls. I don't have any tattoo. When I enter the room there comes a creepy, skinny and bald person behind the door. I have seen him before. I look to the other side and starts waking up. There is a staircase down to something, behind a shower curtain. Another bald and skinny guy is coming up from it.

I woke up exactly at 6 o'clock one hour before I'm used to wake up. I didn't feel the dream was that of a nightmare even though I were in a cursed room. When i woke up I didn't move and tried to sleep again. the face of the creepy guy was what came to mind and woke me up again. Like something didn't want me to dream again.
I felt the dream was very long, I think I got an idea that I was dreaming when I had won money, but was not lucid. It might mean that I'm close?

      Amount of sleep: 6,5 hours
      Supplement: Apple juice
