Ok I wanted to know if anyone other than me can do this. When I lucid dream (high awareness) I can control my physical body from inside my dream. I know that sound imposable but I can! I am able to make my self sleep walk, and control it! I did a test on my self to see how much I could control from in my dream. I made my self walk down stairs and scrible on a pece of paper I sat on the table before I went to bed. I know it sounds imposable or like I am just crazy but I know I am dreaming when I do this because I am in strange places when I do this like in a small wight room with no doors or windows. I can't see when I do this so I have to remember the floor plan in my house to get around so I don't fall down the steps or walk into a wall. So am I the only strange person out ther or are ther more like me?

Wow. That's remarkable. I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm sure you aren't strange. If you are, we all are. Does this happen only when you reach high lucidity? Do you feel with your physical body while you are doing it, or is it more like controlling a puppet? Fascinating...

I can only control my body while in High lucid state, I have to be completly aware of everything in my dream for it to work right. And yes it is exactly like controling a pupet. I can only feel somthig if it is painfull (like steping on somting sharp) or unexpected. If this happens I get jolted awake so fast that I generly end up on the floor because my mucles spaz out for a second ( Think of walking off a cliff in you dream, You jump right? well my spazam is about 10 times stronger than that!) It is verry hard ot control your self because ther is no real feed-back from your body. You have to remember where to go or it could be bad.... I woke up on my kichen table once :D

thats abosolutely amazing! ive never sleepwalked or anything, let alone control it...im sure there are others out there that can do what you do, but it is nonetheless extraordinary...its hard enough for me to get to a state of high lucidity

Wow, thats amazing. I've never heard of anything like that. How long have you known you could do this? So when you do this, is it sort of like walking in the dark and when you sleep walk, you dont feel anything?(besides things causing pain)

I learned I could do this about one year ago when I learned how to lucid dream. ever scince I have had the ablility to do this but I don't do it verry much because I find it much more interesting to explore my dreams :D As for the way I control it its like controling someones mucles from your own mind. Its not exactly like walking in the dark because I see my dreams sourondings like the little room a was talking about above and you have no feed-back except pain.

Yeah thats awsome!
Theres gotta be a way then to break down the effects of sleep paralysis or some people experience it to a lesser degree and then when you become lucid and are aware, can take controll of the body!
I do remember they did some experiments using eyemovements, people were able to signal to the waking world using their eyes! You seemed to have upped this a notch though!
Can you slip back into your dream body and continue exlporing after you have done this? and what have you written down anything interesting?
wow you could have a dream then using your physical body write it down while you are still asleep!

I think I am able to do this because of the fact that I am fully aware I am dreaming so I know my real body is laying on my bed waiting for orders form my brain. I never leave the dream while doing this unles I am startled. Like I said above its like conroling someone with no feed-back. I found a good example to give an idea on how it feels to do this.
Ok think of having a raido controled car and the remote for it. You set up a track that consists of a 5' strait away then turns right at a 90deg. angle then turns left at a 45deg. angle then one more 5' strait. You practice driving the car on the track. Easy right? ofcorse it is you have feed-back. Now you go in to a colsed off room so you can't see the car (or hear it) now try to drive the car thrugh the track :o Hard to do right? No feed-back. The only way to logicly do this it to remember how long to go forward, turn, turn, and go forward again. This is how I control my body from my dream. Im stuck in a room were I can't see my body and I noly have timing to help me get around.

Wow..that's more than interesting....If you can do that, i'm sure you can find a way to bring back usefull informations. Have you tried talk with your physical voice? If you can do that and use a recorder.... it would be incredible!!

Steven, It's an interesting phenomenon that you describe. Somehow you are able to override your sleep paralysis when you are lucid, and then your thoughts control your body.
For an interesting question, can you talk whil ein this state!!! See, it is already remarkable that you have this control, becuase you can bring information back from the lucid dream in real time. For instance, you could have a conversation with a dream character and have it record while you talk. Some people who have develop thorugh meditation describe expirences where a dream guide reveals lessons about the universe, like the two secrets of life or whatever, but when they wake up they can't remember! You could even write them down.

Can you draw? It would be so cool if you could sketch what you are seeing!
This is the first time I have ever heard of anyone being able to control this.
Set up a video camera somewhere and narrate as you go while in your dream. It would make a pretty interesting video!

I tried to record my self last night to see if I could talk while controling my body but I couldn't do it. It was like trying to talk after puting a whole bottle of novacane in you mouth (don't try that, it sucks I couldn't eat at all the whole day :P )

Cool, but then again not so cool. What if, for some reason, you started running in your dream, and that made you run in real life? You might end up getting really hurt by knocking yourself out.
Or like, if you tried to fly in the LD, and your body had somehow ended up at a precarious position (ie, you had somehow managed to get outside in the road without noticing), and then you jumped to fly, ended up in the middle of the road in darkness, and got run over.
You can control it though.
Don't let me spoil your fun :P

I mean it is amazing that you can do this, but not so far fetched at all. Think about it, a lot of people sleep walk which is basically bypassing their sleep paralysis anyways.
Awesome though, man!
