have any of you guys read this book? i just finished it and i have to say it's remarkable. i loved everything about it. -- it might be because i can relate to what the protagonist is going through... to an extent.

I read it a few years ago and I liked it a lot. I couldn't figure out, though, why it was always popping up on the 'banned books' lists a while back. (It's also interesting that it's on the FBI list of flagged books). Maybe I just don't know enough about the time in which it was written, but I thought it was remarkable as well.
