Hi LucidTutor, I read somewhere or maybe someone's post here that they use a normal swim goggles, burn a hole each side of the goggles where your eye level is
and put super bright leds in the hole. The controls is through a computer which I have no idea how to do. But I have made a similar device but without the mask cause I can't sleep wearing things on my head including headphones. It's just a red spotlight aimed at the ceiling. The controls again I bought it off the shelf as a electronics kit and is connected to a normal plug in timer. So far had a couple of low level LDs with it LOL. Still experimenting.

Hey,

I believe if you search "REM detector" you will get a few threads. I remember one of these threads having a link to a schematic. I was thinking of building one myself , maybe I will someday.

Hope this helps,

Nick

I have complete plans for building one that connects to your PC (building the mask is cheap, and the software is free and open-source). I will post it online tonight and reply to this.

Cheers,

I removed the schematics as I'm contemplating a commercial product... Happy to keep you posted on that, though, if you like!
