This is the fascinating story of a 15 year old boy named Ram Bojon who has according to some devotees has fasted for Sixth Months without food or water. Some call him the "new buddha."

"Tell the people not to call me a Buddha. I don't have the Buddha's energy. I am at the level of rinpoche (lesser divinity)."

It seems like it is also used as an honorary title. There are many names like this in India.
