changing perspectives

Has anyone been able to change their perspective while in a lucid dream from first person to third person? Are there any techniques that can be used to induce this? The reason i am asking is that my dreams tend to always be in first person perspective and would like to experience the third.

As to changing perpectives, i have this problem myself, because most of my dreams are in 3rd person, and it is harder to realize that i am in a dream when its in 3rd person, so i WANT to have 1st person dreams :(

its bad to refer to other threads, even if one is a repeat...otherwise this forum will slowly slow down and die as pretty much everything gets discussed and people just refer to previous threads all the time...

as for perspective, ive noticed that all my dreams in 3rd person i have no control in, even if i become lucid...its like the 3rd person ones are my subconcious trying to tell me something, and the other dreams are jus the funs ones...i'unno

Reading this got me thinking. Anyone ever try to jump into a different dream character so that you became them?

All my dreams are in 1st person. And no, i've never tried to jump into the body of another dream person.

I'll put it on my list of things to do, but I'll be sure to ask that persons permission first. :wink:
