I've been thinking about this idea for a while but I finally bit the bullet and paid the 90 cents for a tiny notepad that I can carry around. Here's my thinking:
I'm writing down everywhere I go and at what time I leave and arrive. I plan to do this every time I leave a room and go somewhere else, even if it's just from my dorm room to the bathroom. My hope is that with this regular routine, I will be able to check over this list when I'm dreaming and see whether or not it makes sense and determine whether or not I am dreaming from said list.
So, what do you think? Any suggestions?

that's an excellent idea :)
you're bound to become lucid if you do that for awhile
Excellent idea hope it works, keep us posted on your results

How long do you think you'll be able to do that? Seems like it would become very time-consuming after awhile. It's a good idea - I just wouldn't be able to pull it off. (I can't even write down everything I eat for 2 days straight!). Good Luck! :D

Oh, I hated teachers for making us do that. I'd forget and just put down a bunch of random stuff. It makes me wonder what my teachers thought.
Anyway, I'm on Day 2 and sometimes it's hard for me to remember to write down everything, but I carry my journal everywhere and so I try to keep it in the forefront of my mind whenever I'm going somewhere. I think the biggest thing will be checking the times, as in dreams time is often screwy. It's kind of like a visual reality check.
I'll keep you posted.

I guess that would work, but that takes ALOT of efford. You could allso do a RC everytime you move, right?

This sounds like an amazing idea. Ive done things sort of like this before, but could never stick to it. Pleas keep us posted, because if it does, and works very efficiantly, there could be another set of motivation behind it all to keep me going with it.
Thanks for proposing this extraordinary idea,

That does sound like a good idea, but not for me. Keeping a normal dream journal is enough for me. Doing what you are going to do might help me, but I would feel it would be a waste of time in my normal life. Second of all, remembering to do it in the first place would kill me. lol.
Good luck with it though. :)

Sweet.
Maybe I'll draw a dot on the back of my hand and stare at it everywhere I go~!
It will remind me to glance at the clock~
It would probably be easier. I'm very forgetful.
I couldn't possibly forget with a big fat red dot on my hand!
Thanks. Nifty idea.

Day 6:
Nothing yet, but still optimistic. I haven't been going back and looking it over, but it's becoming more familiar to grab it before I leave a room. I also remember hearing someone's reality check idea of RCing every time they went through a door, but I think having something that I can touch has helped more. I think I'm actually a kinesthenic (spelling?) learner more than anything else; I learn best by touch and movement.
In all honesty, I don't really have any obvious habits aside from morning and nightly routines, so I'm hoping that once this becomes more second-nature, it will start to appear in my dreams.
