Hey, my name is Michael, and I need help attaining Lucidity. I've become lucid once once (actually it was my first time trying so it was pretty sweet). That was about 3 weeks ago, since then I havn't been able to have one. I quit for about a 2 weeks after that and really got into it a week ago anb have had no luck. Ive done the regular reality checks, dream signs, and nothing,s been working for me. Do I just need to be patiant or what. All the advice I can get is needed. So leave some comments and adviuce to help me out.

Thanks a ton,

M-Red

try combining WBTB with the MILD technique. (set your alarm for about 5 hours after you fall asleep.

both WBTB and MILD techniques are covered in the tutorials section.

you can hardly expect to become lucid all the time if you forget about it for weeks at a time. trying a certain technique consistently (along with RCs, and DJ, etc) is neccessary to make any real progress.

Come on, it's only been a week. Give it some time, be patient. Read other peoples experiences, there are people who wait for ............. whole MONTHS in between. So don't get too worked up about a week.

Like Asher said, pick a method and stick to it. Try to duplicate what you did last time, but most of all... be patient.

Patience is the key to attaining any ability. Currently I'm still working on breaking my dry spell (5 years, 10 months, and 2 days. Just a little something to think about when you think of giving up). There are two sayings that I have made that would pertain to this thread.

1. You have truly failed when you give up.
2. The great river does not attain it's size through brute force but through perserverance.

Hope this was helpful.

Now I'll go back to meditation. :meditate:

People like me.

I just recently ended a 103-day dry spell that had been driving me nuts... It didn't take anything specific so I can't really offer you any advice, but I will say that getting enough sleep helps.

ok maybe you sould get a dream pad, and to really get lucid you must want it to happen or it won't happen .. and if you can't remmber simple stuff when your awoke then you won't remmber to go lucid.

Tips : once your dreaming try to realize a dream from reaitly then just say this im dreaming instantly you will wake up in the dream , the clear the better to help you remmber.. stay focus on one thing like becoming lucid again then stick with it .

best of luck 8)
