Most of my dreams have something to do with school. If you read my dream journal, you'll see. Is there any way to use school related things as my dream sign or something?

that's odd. a good idk, ::steal's Amé's idea of pulling a random number out of the air:: 65 percent of my dreams relate to school somehow. Probably because I spend so much time there. But yeah, maybe during the day at school constantly look at everything, notice as much as you can. Then hopefully your subconscious will get used to the idea of absorbing so many details about your school, and when it notices something out of place... at which point the possibilities are endless. :D

So what your saying is that I should look all around my school, and If I notice anything different, (Since what it looks like is burned into my mind) I should know?

Every one of dreams (Beside one, that was about.. heheheheh) was about school.

Pretty much... I mean I'm no expert. BUT if you notice everything in real life at school, generally in dreams you'll notice everything. Even though the image may be burned into your mind (like my school is. It's rather sad how I coudl close my eyes and navigate the school, buy lunch, and catch a bus home), you don't always pay attention to everything. When you start noticing changes, you'll be more likely to notice these slightly more radical changes that occur oh so often in dreams.

Do your dreams involving school have any other similarities? Like do you always do the same things in these dreams? Or do some of the same things happen sometimes? You may be able to use something like that as a dream sign.

I've long since graduated high school, but I still have dreams that I am back in high school and I either can't find my locker, forget my combination, or am late to class and have the wrong books. It's the same things all the time - so I've been able to make dream signs out of locker problems.

It occours in a chronological fashion... In one I was getting chased by a bus, my latest one ewas about history class and gym class. Do you think my dreams will stay in school, or will it eventually go that I get on the bus and go home. I hope so... I find dchool (In my dreams) it's so non ridiculos it's not even funny..

your dreams seem similar to mine. I've had quite a few mundane school dreams, but the ones that aren't at school are just as mundane (mostly). One time, I dreamt I was feeding my fish. Fascinating, I know. Another time I dreamt I ate an apple in my kitchen. Again, riveting. But another time I dreamt I was in this kid who I've NEVER met's house, and I saw his turtle. I don't even know if he has a turtle. But THEN, I left his house, and it led out into the 3300 hall of my school.

Bizarre, but still pretty mundane.
So I can connect with you there. Maybe just do reality checks once at every stage of school. Waking up before school, at the bus stop, on the bus, in first period, in second period, at lunch, on the bus going home, when you get home, etc. That should cover your bases for whatever may present itself in the future.

Yes, my dreams are like that. Most of mine are mundane, with some twist thrown in. Like Friday's dream, a girl in our school was slam dunking, running, etc in gym, but the twist is she wears a brace.. (Schooliosis, she can hardly jump or run) Or this one dream during history class: On the telly there were pictures of 4 native americans, and my teacher was saying they were feminists.. then I got up, turned the VCR, and suddenly a level from Call of Duty was there....

Maybe do reality checks whenever you see him or something reminds you of him? And/or, if you do MILD, you could visualize yourself finding him, and once you see him, visualize yourself doing a RC because of that. Whatever works, I guess.

Heh, it's only an approximation (it's different with everyone) but I guess it's pretty accurate :) I will start doing reality checks whenever I see my brother, I hope he doesn't notice :D

I seem to have no real Dreamsign... Anyhow, I think school just occupies a large part of your brain...

That's what you think. All school boards are actually special LSD screens that flash 'DREAM ABOUT SCHOOL' and 'LOVE SCHOOL" every minute for 0.001 second. :0

I have similiar dreams, I am always dreaming about busses. I study at uni, and live quite a distance away. A one way bus trip takes and hour and 15 minutes. So I spend a good amount of time on busses each day. I always dream about being on a busses, driving busses, reading bus timetables, buying bus tickets etc.

A few examples...I was one at a bar with some freinds of mine, and this dodgey looking bloke walks up to me, and asks me to come out side...so stupidly i follow the guy out side. I get out side and he reaches into his jacket and pulls out a massive roll of bus tickets...all connected, kind of like those tickets you get from arcade machines to exchange for terrible prizes. I laughed when he showed me them, and I asked "Where did you get them from?"...he didn't say anything, and i then said "Give us some!"...

Another dream I was at uni, but I was outside, and a bunch of us were sitting on a big table and one of my lecturers was conducting a class on bus timetables. It was really funny, because this lecturer is an extremely comical eccentric british pianist ( I study classical piano)...and he has all these bus times and numbers written on a whiteboard and he is going around the class, asking us what time we have to catch the bus, and what bus we have to catch. Of course, everyone knew how to get home but me...

Anyway, most dreams i have I end up on a bus, or talking about busses. But after I indentified this as being a reccuring theme in my dreams, I have basically stopped dreaming about busses...now, I have to find another dream sign.

but i did have one the other night but it was very weird ....a freind came up to me and spat a small glass bottle into my face and started kicking me........ :eek:
