Heh, that's kinda cute!

For the more sophisticated videographers out there, you might wanna have a gander at this homemade Steady Cam (http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/steadycam/). I've thought about makin one myself for some short film ideas I had.

i wouldn't trust my camera to a pepsi bottle.

but it does sound like a good idea if you need your camera ten inches off of something.

First of all, the bottle tripod idea is GREAT! The tripod I have now is really big and bulky.

And second of all, Thank You to OpheliaBlue and mongreloctopus for enlightening me. Now when I go hiking I can finish a drink, make a bong, enjoy the bong and proceed right to taking wonderful nature pics with a make-shift tripod! You guys just made my day. :D
