Thats the stupidest sh** EVER!
"There are a lot of dangerous and stupid things people do when they're intoxicated, other than get behind the wheel of a car," Beck said. "People walk out into traffic and get run over, people jump off of balconies trying to reach a swimming pool and miss."
Ok, so if you start cracking down IN the bars, then people will be more likely to drink in there homes. That in no way solves the problem. People will always be with their cars, whether at a bar or at home. Wont this put bars out of business or something?

If walking in streets drunk and getting behind the wheel were no longer considered illegal and dangerous, do we still have a problem? :-P
