When they told me what that button actually did, I started pressing like twenty times and expecting some sort of program to run or something. I then concluded that it was deactivated or that I had no idea what I was doing. If someone can tell us what to do, it would be quite interesting....

What i said was more relevant than all this. My goodness, it was a simple "two birds with one stone" congratulation - it's not like what I said would've been more relevant in any other thread. And making a new thread just to say that would be infinitely more spammy than squeezing it into my post-whore congratulation.
I think this is part of what is NEGATIVELY changing this forum...I hate to feel forced to make posts like this, but myself won't allow me to be in a ridiculous situation and not say something. I mean damn, you're mention of the fact that my congratulation was "off-topic" was more off-topic than my congratulation! I know you were just kidding, wasup :wink: ...but I don't know about you, truthbearer. I don't mean to sound offensive, I hate for people to have hard feelings, I honestly only aim to make it clear that this sort of action is what pushes me away from communities like this. And I'm only trying to get this message across because of the recent influx of disheartened regulars. It's not only that I'm personally upset, but also that I just want speak for everyone that is upset about things like this that may seem fickle to some. Some are much more sensitive than others...
I hope you won't hold any of this against me, truthbearer, because I know we've seen eye-to-eye more often than not...and I'd hate to create any grudges.

I am sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, I was actually just goofing off. Relevance is something that generally doesn't exist in most topics. When I visit a certain thread that can be named "I like puppies", many times I enter it, after having posted on it before, knowing that it is actually about broken radiators. Its all part of the senselessness. When I posted what I did, I was just being sarcastic, as was Wasup. Look at how this thread evolved, actually the term should be wondered off, into an "I need help printing my screen" thread.
We obviously were joking about starting a new thread for the Mod congrats, and we meant for it to be taken as one. I do urge you to understand I wasn't serious and if it caused you to feel any negative feelings towards this board or its users I apologize.
It's all in good fun, and remember this is senseless banter, so I would recommend that you do not take everything you read here so seriously. I am glad you posted, and if you ever feel anything like this again, I expect that you will post that as well.
