I'm really really sorry if you did not want me to post this, but I know DV means a big deal to you so I just felt I had to.
Seeker, the nicest guy in the forum and a true friend to me is currently going trough some rough times, I cant exactly tell you guys what it is, as it is personal, but maybe he will himself, or maybe he wont, I know we cant do much actual stuff to help him, but supportive words are always good!
I've already send you my detailed support in email.. you've been a real friend to me, people like you are very rare.
Well, the subject says enough you rule!! And I know you will be ok, good luck with everything, may all things possible be with you.
:goodjob: You're my man, da best ^_^

I really feel as if i know Seeker.
Even though he has a family and is very busy working, he has time to talk to me and help me through the crap of being young!
Seeker, your dedication trying to WILD for 3 months straight shows me your dedication to our friendship, and more importantly to your wife, and kids.
Your great man. Thanks for everything! :goodjob2:
P.S. :fro:

Yup, Seeker is indeed great. :D
Yeah, seeker rocks :D
Seeker, you are the wisest person here, and probably the most experienced person when it comes to Lucid dreams. You've tried for months to have a WILD, just to experience what its like, and finally suceeded. You're always friendly and have a kind word and advice for everyone. I wish you the best of luck and hope you can sort it all out soon!

Hey thanks guys! Your support means the world to me.
I cannot discuss this in any detail because the distric attourney is looking into it, but.....
My family has been friends with another family for the last 6 months. As of right now, me, my wife, and my daughter are key witnesses in a child abuse case against this family.  There is so much ugliness in the world!!
Needless to say, this has us torn up in a major way!!! We have been undergoing councelling!
Thanks again for your support and I hope to be back on Monday!
You guys are the greatest!!!!

That type of thing is not ugliness... it is plain evil, demented, and sick.
That tears me up. I hope they get what they deserve.

Yeah, KalmaH.But I do think that there is something more that is tearing seeker up.I believe it is the fact that they have been friends, and he feels bad about turning his back on his friend, yet knows that the friend deserves what he gets..that is horrible...

I would turn my back to any of my friends including family members if I knew they were in any way mistreating their children. I would even give the 'juice' to the electric chair or fatally inject them if I were asked to, and I would do it with a big smile on my face and proudly wear a shirt that said "I've killed some assholes". I feel sorry only for the child, and I'm sure it's they way that Seeker feels (sorry man, not trying to put words in your mouth). That kid obviously has gone thgough rough times, and now they get even rougher. Someone has to take care of him/her, and you don't know how those people will be. Could be the same or worse. He/she might have to move to another city and start over.
Well, I will no longer answer anything in this thread that deals with Seeker or how he might be feeling, as I feel that doing so will make him an object of a conversation which would be rude, especially in this situation.

I guess only seeker know how he feels, but I know how I would feel, it would take a lot for me to turn my back on a friend, and I don't know how I might react in that situation....

Get what they deserve? Most definitely... that's the end result of karma.... read my quote under my name YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW...
YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW... there's no escaping this karma.... we may never be witness to the justice but it comes... when the time is right.. it strikes and it hits hard.
Karma is not always bad.. it can be good.. but my feeling in this case.. we all know what happens to child abusers and molesters in jail right.. well the universe has its own way of punishing offenders... You Reap What You Sow.. it's in the bible.. you can't escape it. The bad people will get their punishment (and punishment from God/Universe is far worse than we we humans can dish out).
Seeker, I will keep you in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Ok, you people have convinced me that something like that should have harsh consequences, but am I the only one that thinks that turning your back on a friend is hard, no matter what?I guess I go buy the honor system way to much...

Don't let anyone change that. It is a part of you, and a valuable one I must say. It is hard to find a person that takes honor so deeply. Then again you are still young, I'm guessing you still see kids as little things that only shit sleep and eat. I ain't trying to preach, I know you hear stuff like that "you will learn" crap, God knows I did.

Please dont turn this topic into a discussion, its not meant for that, if you wanna discuss that please make a new topic, the world is just full of meanies  , thats the way it is, lets not discuss it here though, this is a topic to support seeker, not to argue about what should happen , ok please.

Seeker I know you and your family will pull through, but I know sometimes its difficult being the Head (of household). Your family is looking to you for guidence, answers, perseverance, hope, and love. So be that as it may. You gotta make sure you're always strong for them.. I know you all will pull through it together and everything will get back to normal. See ya soon. :goodjob:

Thanks again everyone!
This has been a very trying time for my family, and it is not over yet. It is looking like we will be put on the witness stand in a couple of weeks.
This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I know, the family was already destroyed before we came forward with our evidence, but, it is so hard to look into the eyes of those that you have considered friends and utter words that will damn them.
And there are other children in the family. It is so hard    to look into the crying eyes of a 13 year old girl who knows what you are saying will mean she will be taken from the mother she loves......

Wow Seeker, that is very tough. But remember that eventhough there are many negative consequences that will come of it, they will be much better that if things had stayed as they were. Besides, anything that happens because of your testimony will not be a effect of it, it will be an effect of something that was already done, and you are striving to stop. You are a good man Seeker, and you know you have all of our support with you...
Your friend,

You guys wish me luck. I will be meeting with the social worker assigned to this case in about 4 hours. (4:40 EST)
If all goes well, we will have a written legal document that will serve as a plan to resolve this.
I will be in court on April 1st. If all goes well today, it will be a breeze. If not, then it will be Hell!
Thanks again for all your support, but especially Lucius, Lost Soul, Lowercase, and O'nus for giving me shoulders to cry on!
Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon and I can dedicate more of my time to helping you guys here!

We now have an action plan in place that will hopefully bring this family back together. (50 pages long!!!!!!!)
Next Thursday, we all still have to appear in court, but it should just be for the judge to rubber stamp his approval on the plan!!!!
