You know, a nurse giving me an insurance physical just a couple weeks ago told me that the BMI originated back in WWII in England... when they were trying to convince themselves that they weren't really starving. I've not confirmed that, but it rang true.

I'm 15 and 5'8. However, I can bench 205 lbs, so what I lack in height I make up for in muscle. I'm also not done growing, thank goodness.

So this morning when I got up I felt as though I had grown an inch or two in my sleep. I looked at my mirror and my eyes were above their normal spot. I was very excited to finall be a tall person, but then I looked down and realized that I had simply forgotten to take my shoes off before going to bed the night before.

In Oklahoma, it is illegal to wear your boots to bed. It is also illegal to have the hind legs of farm animals in your boots. But it is perfectly legal to have the hind legs of a farm animal in bed, provided you are not wearing boots.

6'2" is not THAT tall. Believe me, you could be more of a freak of nature than that. :wink:
Yeah, I'm 6'2". Causes trouble giving shorter people hugs, but other than that it isn't so bad. One of my friends is nearing 7', and he has to duck to get into most doorways. People also have a hard time talking to him since they have to crane their necks up to look him in the eyes.

Doesn't it? Especially since most girls hug around your neck, so you have to bend over. Haha. I usually just give em the old over-the-shoulder headlock hug and call it a day. :chuckle:
