My older brother made me watch the Chucky's Serie when I was young and that scared the crap out of me...

Dolls are creepy but I've never had nightmares about em. I just saw Chucky a few days ago on tv and that was hilarious. That doll tried to look creepy so it wasnt as creepy IMO. That movie was just hilarious. But when I see a little girl holding one of those scary baby dolls with the creepy eyes....

Wow, that looks like an infant Chucky!
was luck enough to have a table at a Planet Hollywood that had the 'Chucky' Doll on display. Way cool!

Yeah I was always scared of those types of movies. I could never bring myself to watch Chucky. And I thought the Night of the Living Dummies or whatever was the most scary Goosebumps books. :P

You know, I realize it was just a stupid movie (very stupid...), but the characters could have, I dunno, picked the doll up and held it at arm's length and watched it flail around and cry or something. It's not like it could do anything much from that position. It was a friggin doll, yet it somehow overpowered and manhandled everyone in the movie. How retarded is that?
Puppets and clowns, however, freak me the hell out. It’s not that I think they’re going to come alive or something, but they just have a ‘feel’ about them that makes me cringe inside. I have no rational explanation for this fear. None whatsoever.

When I was somewhere around 7 years old. My mother took me to a drive-in theatre where some horror movie was playing (I dont remember the name of it though). In the movie these creepy ass dolls would come to life and murder ppl. When I say "creepy" I MEAN CREEPY AS HELL!! I can still see thier eyes just popping open.....*shivers*.
We had to leave before the movie was even over b/c it scared me so bad. When we got home I made my mother take every doll outta my room before I went in there....and even then I still slept w/ her that night and a few after.
Does anyone recall the name of that movie?? It was probably made in the late 70's early 80's. Ive gotten over my aversion to horror films since then and I would like to see it again.....but I still dont like dolls.

Could it have been one of the Puppetmaster movies? My brother's wife is a horror-flick aficionado and I watched a few of them with her.

I have no idea. I'll google up some images from the puppetmaster movies (never seen them before) and see if they ring any bells. Thanks for the help.

It's a lonely monster called Groke from a japanese animated series called "The Moomins". If it touches you, you freeze instantly. It's not really evil but many think it is. Scary nevertheless. Apparently american kids have never seen "The Moomins", it's a shame. The show is great. They show it here in Europe.

I got pretty scared from that one old episode of Twilight Zone with that talking doll that killed that girl's stepdad because he was bad...Tina The Talking Doll. +goose bumps+
I've had my fair share of nightmares from scary stuff on TV:
1. on one episode of Scooby Doo, it turns out we have a special evil shark that can also walk around and might even jump out of the hall closet at you (you know he's can!):
http://moviejpegs1.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/Demon_Shark.jpg
2. those freaky ass bat people from Beastmaster that swallowed you with their wings, and digested you by squirting some kind of enzymes on you because they don't have mouths, and then they open their wings back up and drop a pile of bones that was once you: (these guys are responsible for my cyclops nightmare)
[ can't find image :blue: ]
3. and then that 1/2 alien baby from the "V" series:
[ given up picture hunting ]

did you ever see that Harvey Birdman show with scoobydo and shaggy on trial for smoking pot or something?
ha most of my nightnames invovled very large speghetti noodles..with marbles rolling on them. Oh and sometimes i had a nightmare of this black door at my house..yah those are kinda strange nightmare topics i guess...

Umm, this post made me remember a dream I had 2 nights ago. I didn't bother to even put this in my journal because there is not much of the dream that I really recalled, but....
At one point, I was with some friends, and this little red haired boy threw a drink at me and ran away. So, I chased him, ready to beat his ass. (He was a little kid) But when I caught him, he turned into a doll, and he had a THICK manual, like War and Piece thick, (Think Charlie Brown) connected to his arm. And he didn't look it, but me and my friends new he was evil. What kind of non-evil doll throws drinks?? Anyways, a girl told me to burn him, but I woke up before we did.
Anyways, thanks for jogging my memory.
