brainwave generator damage?

Hello, I was curious about some information concerning Brainwave Entertainment. Does anybody know of any safety precautions one could take before experiencing binural beats with the brainwave generator, i.e.-serious side effects when used with anti-anxiety /depression medications?

or more specific: has anyone ever experienced OBVIOUS NEGATIVE EFFECTS WHILE USING BRAINWAVE GENERATOR, HEMI-SYNC, OR ANY OF THE RELAXATION COMPANY'S USAGE OF ALPHA AND THETA INDUCTION CDS?

I have had access to bwgen for a few years but am hesitant to use,because I have heard ambiguous accounts on behalf of binural beats causing seizures and even death. My source from wikipedia.org is below.....I was wondering if you had any other info on this?

i'm very interested in using brainwave presets...i understand the risk, i'm simply wondering if these negative claims against binaural beats have any merit.

Software providers creating packages for audio processing such as Adobe Audition (formerly Syntrillium Cool Edit Pro) do have disclaimers in their help materials stating that the use of brainwave synchronization by means of binaural beats can cause seizures and even death and that they will not be held responsible for injuries or deaths that occur as a result of the use of binaural beats. I've been using light and sound machines since 92. Note, I do not take any medications for anxiety / depression. I dont suffer from epileptic fits / siezures.

I would think these machines could have an effect on anyone who is not comfortable with closed spaces, strange visual patterns or anything that seriously throws off your perception and can drastically change your brainwave patttern in a short period of time. Outside of perhaps feeling uncomfortable at times, I don't think it would affect you physically.

Note, you should always consult your doctor when using such a device and taking medications.

But honestly... as long as you stick with the presets and maybe some of the ones people made (if you have the full version) then you should be fine. I heard certain beats are bad for you, but the presets are made better I believe. I'm no doctor though... but I wouldn't think you'd have to consult one. I don't think binural beats are even proven... (though I think the placebo effect is powerful enough for me to use it anyways)
