Hiya guys, as some of you know, I give out hugs ( :hug: ) as often as I can in chat and DV posts. However some people have told me that its not good to give out hugs too often and to any old person.
But, I think you should welcome everyone and treat them the same-nomatter who they are, what their background is, or where they come from!

What do you all think-should I keep giving out my hugs or not!?

Well, try and cut back on your hugs as some people might not be comfortable with it, or else just ignore them and continue giving hugs.

hugs are good, whether they're virtual or real! i say hug as many people as you can, and if they get pissed off, that's their own damn problem!

I hug just about everyone that I'm acquainted with in real life (though I restrain myself with strangers), so why not give my friends here hugs, too?

Yeah, any hug is a good hug. I think the initial complaint was that "just giving away a hug devalues it" and that they want their hugs to actually count for something. They are actually being selfish in wanting your hugs. How dare they.

Hey, same sex hugging is perfectly okay and non-gay.

Hugs are good.

And remember kids, it's okay to cuddle. But there, you miiight worry about the creepy factor if you don't know the person well.

I ask people if they mind being hugged, if they don't I go ahead! But if they do, it would be unfair and rude to make them feel uncomfortable. You would not like it if someone made you feel like that.
I personally don't see why people don't like them, but that's their choice. (For the record, I don't mind being hugged at all! hug.gif )
