I don't get to sleep very fast, so I'm drinking a large glass of warm milk just before bed, supposedly this will help me get to sleep faster, plus it wakes me up in the middle of the night because I have to piss. I'm also eating Dark Chocolate to help have Lucid Dreams. Also, I'm going to buy some Vitamin B6. Now I have some questions:
Should I drink the warm milk right before I try to fall asleep, or drink it a bit earlier?
When sould I eat the chocolate? Before I go to sleep? When I wake up around 3 AM? Half and half?
How much B6 should I take?
When should I take the B6? Before sleep or in the middle of the night?

1. Drink the warm milk a little before you go to bed, maybe like 10 minutes.

2. Eat the chocolate after like 5-7 hours of sleep (if that's 3 AM for you).

3. Try 100 mg at first, up it if you don't see results and down it if you get nightmares. Don't take it more than twice a week or it'll cause reversable neurological (sp?) to your arms and I'm too stupid to remember but I think your legs to. The means it's sort of numb :?

4. In the middle of the night, like the time you would eat your chocolate.

Okay thanks, the pills I got are 100 mg :) I couldn't find really any dark chocolate (I was expecting Hersheys-type bars but they only have milk, I had to get this variety bag of mini chocolates lol)

Also, is watching TV right before bed bad for falling asleep? I've been trying to go to bed at 10 for LDing, but if I souldn't watch TV, that means no South Park :blue:

I feel your pain, South Park is my favourite show. Watching TV is fine, especially if it makes you more tired. It's not healthy to sleep in front of the TV though (at least that's what I read in the newspaper).

I've read that the artificial lgiht that comes from the PC screen and TV screen can sometimes trick the mind/body into thinking it's sunlight, and make it harder to sleep. Which might explain why I have problem sleeping, Im on the PC up until ten minutes before bed...

Need to break that habbit. =\

Yeah I found out that really waaay too many people are compleely MediAddicted ( Is that a Word? It IS now  ) They can't imagine their lives without TV, PC and Internetr. I have broken the Passive Lethargic TV-gazing habbit and now I haven't watched TV for longer than 15 minutes in months maybe up to a year now. I HARDLY ever watch TV because everytime I zap along the channels it Reminds me why I hardly ever watch TV: News about another 2000 Dead isn't news anymore: it's a common day on planet earth, And there's hardly any educative programs or documentairys with some DEPTH, Intellect and Spirituality. It's all so shallow. Cheap NOT funny Comedy Shows, Talkshows, Reality TV ( Gotta HATE that ), Soaps and Commercial Noise they DARE calling Music is all they Play on the 3 Music Channels we have here.

Bah, having lived almost completely TV-less has made me feel quite free again. Free from the Urge and Dependance of watching TV.
I've always been the kind of Kid that would Rather play outside in Nature, sporting, letting my Imagination run wild..etc instead of watching TV all Day. It passifies alot of People.

I guess TV is sooooo boring that it can easily make you sleepy  Good sleeping Aid? Yes, but I think a reading a Book would do somewhat the same Job. It requires you to pay attention, keep your eyes focus and Mind Active: It's that which makes your Mind tired when it's late and close to bed time.

When you feel that you are mentally and physically relaxed enough to be able to fall asleep, flip off the TV, close your eyes and off to Wonderland you go.

Usually when I do some exercises, meditation and techniques to fall asleep easier and it really works to calm me down prior to sleep; Then I manage to fall asleep within about 30 Minutes: which would Otherwise, when I'm restless, take me an hour or more.
