Yes, I think it was totally wrong of you to steal icedawgs avatar. Now you are causing mass confusion worldwide, and all in all it was a stupid decision. How dare you steal his bunch of pixels. You have no right.

Now, I am going to use an edited Leo Volont avatar, which is ok, because he is banned (sadly) and I am "editing" it.

So your going to steal his Avatar, and then do a tiny edit to it so you can claim it as your own, and you say what I did was wrong?

Like I said before, its only stealing if you take something without asking with no intent to return. At some point Icedawg can be the sole barer of my avatar, but for now, he must learn to share.

Ah, but it was mean to share stuff without someone's permission. If someone has infinite copies of a certain video game, and is recognized by owning that video game, and you take one, then you have an instance you have here. The video game/avatar is not missed since their is no bandwith problems as the avatar is saved in your temporary files, but it causes confusion. People will think they are talking to an admin when in the end they are talking to an avatar whore. :wink:

That may be true, but someone should not be only identified by their picture, as that picture is subject to change at any givin time. If they learn to look at the name, rather than the picture, they will find it very hard to confuse 2 people, regardless of how similiar their picture is.

And besides, if they mistake me for their beloved Admin, I will simply correct them. So no harm done.

Yes, it is a large problem. The majority of the world's population know people by their avatar, or lack of avatar.

Furthermore, the person who mistakes you may be so embarrased they will contemplate suicide.

You shouldn't believe everything you see, but you shouldn't disregard great statements, such as what is written in the 3rd page of the book of mormon:

Do not disregard this, you know that you have done an act that shall be condemned.

Yeah, last year one of our school assigments was that we had to pick a stock and "buy" it. Whoever had the most money at the end won. I picked apple, right when it started falling rapidly because of the switch to intel (as expected). I lost more money than my friend who chose GM under a bet :shock:
