You read the name of this and thought "what? you cant smoke while you sleep". Well, no. But you can wear a nicotine patch!
This usually works for me!
Make sure it is a daytime nicotine patch
BUT BE WARNED! This has been known to incure nightmares
(Note: Do not use if you don't smoke and do not sue me)

I can attest to the fact that nicotine patches can stimulate vivid dreams. Back when I was younger, and was trying to quit smoking (unfortunately one of the many times), I bought some nicotine patches and left one on while I was sleeping. I did find that the dreams I had were very vivd and powerful, and made it very easy for me to become lucid.
Obviously I wouldn't recommend anyone who is not a smoker go out and buy these patches, as a few vivid dreams is not worth a nicotine addiction.

Yeah I was gonna say, if it's anything like alcohol, you could end up with longer, more vivid dreams, but I doubt it would help you attain lucidity. That's just my best guess though, based on my own experiences with dreaming schlonkered.
Certainly wouldn't hurt to try, so long as there are no personal health reasons as to why you shouldn't wear a patch. It would be interesting to read how your dreams turn out.

Erm isn't alcohol a Depressant? And aren't all depressants known to supress REM-sleep? Alcohol is a Dream killer. It makes you fall into a VERY deep comatic sleep. a deeeeep Delta Sleep. Usually with no dreams at all, totally skipping the Theta-sleep(REM-sleep)
PS: I really like your new avatar Ophelia Blue. I've seen it before on www.3dtotal.com I believe.

i have a pack of 21 mg dose nic patches. i slap one on before bed if the thought strikes.
crazy vivid dreams. works better than both calea and B6 for me as far as vividness.
not an aid nor detriment to becoming lucid.
though i feel a little sick halfway through the night and usually take it off...in the future i'll get one step below the strongest.

why would you want to do this if it usually causes nightmares? unless you like nightmares. in which case, w00t for day-time nicotine patches :content:

You know now that you mention it, I remember a while back when someone I knew was telling me about the dreams the patch would make you have.
I never really cared then as I wasn't into the whole dreaming thing greatly.
Interesting. I wouldn't mind slapping one on for a night. I would definitely never allow myself addiction of the patch.
