I've read that eating a chocolate bar before bed helps lucid dreams..does eating chocolate chip cookies before bed have the same effect?

i would assume that if they both have chocolate in them that they would both have the same effect. but remember that chocolate chip cookies and a pure chocolate bar have a very different amount of chocolate in them.

if you eat only a few chocolate-chip cookies i don't think it would have a very dramatic effect on you. however, if you had like 20 of them, i'm sure it would help (good luck with eating 20 cookies).

good luck with it :content:

i'd say your probably better off with just a hersey's chocolate bar. simple-effect (or so i've heard). but try out the chocolate chip cookies. i wouldn't mind hearing the outcome

I just found out about dark chocolate M&M's; they come in a purple bag but I don't know what color they are. I am going to get some of those I bet they will work for sure can't fail. (I will repeat this over and over...)

chocolate wouldnt help much if eaten the night before it would work better in wake back to bed, becasue by the time u start dreamin which is closer to when you wake up, all the caffeine (which is what helps with lucid dreaming because it makes your mind more alert) is probably out of your system or already used. however if u take to much caffeine it might prevent you from falling back to sleep

well, and im just posting, havnt read the other posts, too tired, chocolate has different chemical, such as caffine, and the different chocolates such as white, mild, dark, etc are all different in composition. Eating a chocolate chip cookie might be different because cookies also have dough, which contains flour yeast, etc. Try both, one might be different from the other.
