I was looking on Amazon.com for Lucid Dream CDs, and I found a CD that has to do with Delta Brainwave patterns. I listened to a sample, and it made me more relaxed. I'm hoping that this CD would help me get get into a dream better. What are your thoughts on this?

Delta isn't going to help your dreams at all, it would put you into a deep sleep.
Whats the brain wave gen thing?

It's an application called "Brainwave Generator". Not Brain Wav Gen.
Basically, this application allows you to plug your earplugs or headphone into your PCs Speaker Port and lets you listen to special sounds that send out brainwaves. Extremely low ones. They add a tone on top to help you get into the mood a bit (I think :P), and you wait.
It does multiple things. For example, you have a relaxation preset. You listen to it for a while, and you become completely relaxed. The same goes for self-hypnosis, sleep induction, increased creativity, and so on.
Delta brainwave patterns are deep sleep patterns. You do not sleep in Delta sleep.
You can find all of this here: BWGen.com (http://www.bwgen.com/)
To answer the most obvious question that's going to pop up soon: Are there lucid dreaming presets?
The answer is Yes. We don't know if they really work, and though some people have reported that it has worked for them, for others it hasn't. You have to listen to these presets while sleeping, and it has to be through earplugs. Through speakers it doesn't work, because the waves have to go directly to your ear..thing.
Hope I helped. :content:

I use BBS (Brain Sound Studio) from TransparentCorp (http://www.transparentcorp.com/products/bss/index.php) which allows you to do monural beats which do not require headphones. I've triggers many lucids with my own creations plus the presets so they do work. Although I specialize in creating lucids from AILD (Audio induced) and it may not work as easy for all. I enjoy BBS and all the other programs they have are excellent!

I have real trouble falling asleep in shorter than 30 minutes, so 2 weeks ago I created a 10 minute preset on BW GEN that slowly dropped the brainwave frequency. Thanks to it, with no placebo effect involved, I'm getting to sleep after around 12 minutes every night.

Hey, there is a free CD that I got a while back that has actually really enhanced my LD ability. It's at www.audionoesis.com (http://www.audionoesis.com) Also, they gave me a second CD for free too. The second one is pretty crazy, better than any other CD I have paid for of its kind. Thought this might help!

The free thing is nice, but I find it odd they dont say what exactly they are doing in their CD's. They dont mention binural beats, what entrainment patterns, or anything. Just wierd.

I tried the BrainWave Generator program, but all I heard was a sound that hurt my ears, so that's out of the question. I'll just keep searching for other stuff that's more pleasing and soothing.

Oh yeah. I heard about that one. I've downloaded it and took a listen to it for a little bit. Not while I was sleeping, but I listened to it. The guy has quite an ego, and he goes "Obey! Obey! Obey!" a lot. And they call it a curse because they say after listening to this, you'll lucid dream every night and you won't stop.

SUCCESS!!
i burned a cd of the lucid curse and the audionoesis files, in that order. I had hte second and third lucid dreams of my life in the same night, and no false awakening or anyhting like that, a full on lucid. I didn't have much control in either of them, but i definetly becam lucid. to get the lucid curse thing go to www.warpmymind.com
they say you can register and get acces to all files, but they didnt send me a confirmation email for like 3 days, so, i asked someone to email it to me. BTW, its not that creepy, the only resaon the guy sayas obey is jsut as an autosuggestion technique. That fiel is basically a realxation proces with autosuggestion, similer to the 61 pont relaxation technique in the tutorials, or this, which i ssuposed ot be veyr good: http://www.guidetopsychology.com/pmr.htm
supose ot be good for wilds. The audioneosis thing works pretty wel too, jsut ambient noises. i also took some zinc beofre bed which gives me some better dream recall.
have fun and i suggest listening ot the cd while in bed trying to fall asleep, possibly all night or turn it off minutes before you know youl fall asleep, which i swhat i did
EDIT: dont use that link above. Google "Autogenics"
has anyone else tried it yet?

some bad news:
i have stopped listening to the audi ofiels i set up becasue theyve stopped working. the first night i triend, i had 2 lucids, after that, nothng
for about a week
which is when i stopped
its depressing
whenever i try a new method where i dont know wht will happen, it works
when i expect it to happen after it works, it never works again
what gives
its weird because thats the exact opposite of what should happen

Its due to the quality, if you down the quality you lessen the effect.

on brainwaave gen theres somethign called the schumann resonance
i looked this up and its liek 7.8hz and its supposedly the average frequency given off by the earth's electro-magnetic field. I ahve no idea why it matters but it also turns out to be the same frequency of theta brainwave patterns. Supposedly, if listened to for 5 minutes whiel relaxed, one only needs 6 hous of sleep.
weird
adn also, google gave me a thing on totse.com called "phsycic seduction" that involved this and meditating. its kinda cool but definetly bs, well at least the "phsycic seduction" part.

Angelic like music seems to help for me. (think church / piano + chanting churc choir stuff? but different xD)
So does techno.
Whenever I listen to techno prior to sleep (which I always do for entertainment, not for lucids) it seems to provoke lucids for me.
Church-like music just brings me into the whole ethereal / middle ages / magic mood and maybe that just helps me as well.

I'm downloading the audio files that are supposed to make you relax, get HI, and eventually make you fall asleep. It also remind you (while sleeping) that you are dreaming and you'll become lucid. It's the one where, in the first "episode", the guy tells you to imagine lemons.
