Cities Commonly In My Dreams

Like the topic title, my dreams very often are in a city setting. No specific city, really, just downtown underneath skyscrapers and such. I notice that in these dreams the colors are usually less vivid than normal, but I guess that goes with said city theme.

The weird thing is I've never lived in a city, and have rarely been in cities during my life. Well, rarely in downtown areas, anyways.

Does anybody else have cities often in their dreams?

I have that generic, down-town, kind of gray, city-scape dream a lot too. Sometimes with really crowded streets, sometimes not.

Yeah, except my cities are never crowded. Come to think of it, they're usually pretty empty, people wise.

I guess a lot of people have these dreams too! I was thinking I needed a change, though I don't know if I want to live in a city... So busy and loud.

It's just kind of strange. Aren't dreams usually nature-ish and devoid of technology? A city seems like the last place a dream could take place, as all the blinking lights and such would be malfunctioning. You know, like the light-switch RC; it should be easier to go lucid in a city dream.

Lots of my dreams are in cities. It is a very common setting for me... usually evening or night.
