Light Sensative Eyes?

A strange phenomenon that has occurred since I started sleeping a little less and dreaming more is that my eyes have become very sensitive to light. My eyes keep the “shape/pattern” of lights for long periods of time just from quickly glancing at house bulbs/lamps/etc. Anyone else experienced this? Could it have to do with sleep or something else entirely? Thought I’d bring it up for the heck of it and see what you guys think.

Get more sleep! - when i was sleep deprived in HS because of the godly hours, my eyes would be dry, causing me to 'cry' during the day, and I'd stare at things during the day because i was so tired, if it doesn't fix it, ask a specialist, doctor, someone.....even consult a book, or website...
