View Full Version : How did you choose your screen name?
Seeker

If this has already been done, then I am sorry. I searched but could not find it on the forum. But,
What is the story behind how each of you chose your screen names?
I'll go first.
Well, like so many of you, I am a seeker so...

I know it sounds corny, but I like it and it strike a chord within my soul.... :)
A Lost Soul
10-24-2003, 10:18 AM
Well, I wanted something profound and thought provoking, yet somewhat descriptive of myself. So I came up with A Lost Soul. I'm a wandering soul, searching for the answers to Life, the Universe, and Everything. And anyone who knows me will tell you that I have no sense of direction whatsoever...

Second Attention
10-24-2003, 02:05 PM
The Second Attention is the... well, I shall deem a "state of awareness". So the Second Attention is the "state of awareness" that Carlos writes about in his books. It encompasses the dream world, and some other things. Dreaming is just one way to "reach the Second Attention". The Second Attention can be accessed by dreaming, but not all dreams take place in the Second Attention(unless your Serinanth :D ). It is the "Other", it is the "astral plane", it is the access to the "other worlds", it is the gateway to "other universes". Does anyone need a better definition? I can go all in depth, but I would need my book.
jill1978
10-24-2003, 03:58 PM
my name and birth year...so generic
Serinanth
10-24-2003, 04:47 PM
Its my name =)
My given name is Evan but Serinanth is MY name.
It has dragonic roots with the Th ending, took a while to find it though... metamorphosed from a few things, I used to go by Bahamut, but once final fantasy 3 came out that was the end of that there were bahamuts all over I couldent deal with that,
So I took on the name Silanth it didnt sit right with me.
I read about the different sephiroths, no not the game character.. and the seraphim angels and such and
Serinanth was the end result of all those elements.
So heres how it goes,
I have 3 stories that make my sn very special to me, so try not to laugh at them
First one, Rtex is a word I made up, it is my word, I have used it in everthing. It is the one word that embodies all I want/need/am/will be/have been as a person (short and simple right)
second, My middle initial is R and I live in Texas, so R Tex Rtex,
Third, When I was about 8 I saw a cartoon show Called road rovers, and my favorite character's name was rtex, and so from then on, it was my nick name, but a few years later, I saw the same show, To my EXTREME dismay I found that his name was indeed NOT rtex, but Xile. I was soooooooo depressed. Because to a 10 year old, losing your favorite superhero is right up there with missing snack time. So, I eventually went on with life. How I got Rtex from Xile is beyond me.
well, there it is.

Lets see, I like dreams, thats the Dream part, and I was listening to alot of Lacuna Coil at the time so... Dream plus Coil, well you get the idea.
evangel
10-24-2003, 07:19 PM
Evangel is the Greek word for "Good News" in the New Testament. I'm not sure if the word angel is in any way connected, but angels are often the messengers of good (and sometimes bad) news) -the good news being, more specifically, that one has come as a light into this world as redeemer, savior, healer, King, and the Alpha and the Omega (among many other titles... sorry I'm just in love with Him so I can get preachy (maybe that's why I didn't choose "Evangelist" instead :D )

Anyway, how I came up with it is, I wanted a name that would be positive and pertinent to the board.
InTheMoment
03-01-2005, 08:24 AM
I'm an old school party kid that has expiremented with about every non-prescription drug out there (LSD & E being my fav.)...and during those years I would always try my damnest to lose my mind and sense of reality by gobbling up what ever narcotics I could get my compulsive little hands on.
There was always this moment during my "high" that I felt like time and everything else had slowed down and started revolving around me...I tried to describe this sensation to my peers at the time and the only way I could put those feelings into words was to say that I was "in the moment."
I rarely partake in any form of habituates nowadays, which is why I'm trying to improve upon my LDs...besides LDs are healthier and there is a lesser chance that the authorities will break into your house and arrest you. :whyme:

Anyway, here's my story. My screenname is just one of my nicknames. It doesn't really mean the English word "hate", actually it doesn't mean anything. It's just made up from my real name, and you're meant to pronounce it a bit like "hot eh", not like the word "hate"

3 cheers for topic revivals.
I like the name, Ophelia, from the Shakespeare play Hamlet. Pretty name.
And blue is my favourite colour.
The funny thing, and I didn't know this before, but John William Waterhouse did a painting called "Blue Ophelia," based on the same tragic suicidal heroine:
http://www.artland.co.uk/1_Blue_Ophelia_SA127_P.JPG
~John William Waterhouse was born in Italy in 1849. His early work was influenced by Alma-Tadema, and later he became associated with the pre-Raphaelites. He devoted a lot of his time to classical subjects and the ‘Femmes fatales’ of literature, his paintings were mainly of women, where as men were usually depicted as victims. Waterhouse died in London in 1917.

03-01-2005, 09:57 PM
Peregrinus is Latin for "wanderer" and runs less risk of being interpreted as a falcon than if I used my actual name. A famous author with a penchant for pointy hats once wrote "All who wander are not lost." He was right.

03-03-2005, 03:17 PM
when i was little i used to stay up extremely late and so i thought of the expression "nightowl" and liked how it sounded and what it meant to me and described me. To this day i stay awake untill 11:30 to 12:30 or maybe 1 everyday(yes on school days to) and i'd have to wake up at 6 the next day.
For some reason i just CAN'T go to sleep early. I find myself incapable of doing that. If i try i just stay awake in my bed untill the time i usually go to bed. Anyway i blame it on my heritage. Brasilians like to stay up late and be late to everything. so yeah...:)

I'm suprised I haven't posted in this, yet. (1:30am, yep, there's time)
Anyway, back in the day when The Zone (before it was owned by microsoft, or something) was still young I was trying to think of a bunch of screen names I could use. I used to play a game called Tanarus (which totally rocked!) and as I was creating names (about 10 of them), I decided to try combining words together. I decided to use gems and then take the last two letters of the word and attatch on a word that had the same two letters. Sapphireyes, Emeraldays, Jadelude, and more, including Amethystar.

Lateralus

I got the name from one of my favorite songs by a band called Tool. The meaning behind that is lateral thinking, expanding the mind, and turning ideas into reality. I thought this would be a kickass nickname to have, especially for a forum like this.

At one time, my screen name was actually gamegirl119, but too much spam was sent to me, so I changed it to nesgirl119. NES is short for Nintendo Entertainment System(Now it is just seems to be abbreviated for Nintendo), & of course, I am a girl. This is b/c I am a very big fan of Video Games, especially those made from Nintendo(I suppose you all know that by now!). The 119 is actually the big day of the year I go & party w/my friends! The real day is 11-9, but I am a bit paranoid about someone attacking me then (it has happened b4), so I just keep it 119. :D

I was wondering that! I really like your sn, reminds me of a cross between the Greek Gorgons, and the Gorgonites from that movie "Small Soldiers."
My favorite gorgonite was Archer, and I just found out that the actor who did his voice was Frank Langella!!! Cool, he played Count Dracula in the 1979 Jodn Badham classic, as well as on broadway:

moon_spider
06-25-2005, 07:08 PM
The lyrics 'and the spiders from mars' from david bowies ziggy stardust came to mind when I was thinking of a screen name, and the moon represents mystery etc etc and spiders exude a certain aura of creepyness (which i suppose i do as well) hence moon spider.
Jammy

The alias Jammy comes from my times with "Braking". where we jammed. It also has Jam in it which is "Jam". Jam is sweet, jamming is improvisation. And together its Jammy.

TheDigitalNomad
08-20-2005, 08:45 PM
My username has a variety of meanings to me.
First of all, I created it to be synonymous with the phrase "web surfer". I do not surf, therefore I cannot be a sufer ;P Rather, I wander -- thus, I am a digital nomad.
However, the "Nomad" part comes from a song, oddly enough titled "Nomad", from the death/thrash metal group Sepultura. As oppressed and in poverty the people of Brazil are, Sepultura managed to become a pretty well known thoughout the world, especially as early as the band's history spans. The early 80's were not the greatest times for the peoples of Brazil, and the raw emotion of Sepultura's "tribal rock" reflects that very greatly. So, in a way, "Nomad" is my symbol of respect for the greatness that is Sepultura. ;P
I normally just go by Nomad online, so any of you can use that instead of my full username. :)

08-20-2005, 09:08 PM
"Middle run" is alcohol distilling terminology. I make moonshine, and when you are distilling, the product comes in several stages. First comes the foreshots which is poisonous methanol. Then the heads which is alcoholic but quite sweet, used for liquers. Then comes the middle run (or hearts), which is the good, clean stuff (ethanol). Then comes the tails which is the bad tasting crap. So when I was signing up for a Gmail account I needed a new username and I thought of Middlerun - i.e. good stuff surrounded by crappy stuff.

My name has double meaning "the mind's eye" and "The Mind Is I"
The first meaning I examine from the eye's in my mind, not the eye's polluted by society. The second because your mind is really all you have. Your brain filters reality and every sensory input you have and will ever have, I am my Mind and my Mind is I.

Distant Clone
10-29-2005, 09:21 PM
I have a twin brother and at college one of my friends kept referring to us as clones, not twins. Actually he called me the evil clone, but when i registered a new interweb address for mail, evilclone was already taken. So I thought about what else I was, how I was different from my twin. I realized everyone else kept clumping me together with him, while I wanted to separate from him. So I thought about it, and realized while I was thinking, my thoughts were really out there, in a disconnected out of touch with the rest of society way. I searched several expressions in a Thesaurus to capture that, and I decided on distant.
So DistantClone means "twin that thinks much differently".

As for my name, it is the name of my favorite person in the world with the number 75 on the end because that's the number I always use! Sometimes I also go by Shadowmaster75. It doesn't have any real meaning, but it does make me sound cool... Also, I occasionally go by Maximum, a nickname given to me by a cousin that describes my awsomeness.

Phowa or Powa (pronounced poe-a) is an ancient Buddhist practice of the transference of consciousness. I've been attempting to use dream yoga to explore the mind and consciousness.
At the time I was craving a Cajun shrimp Po-boy sandwich. And there you have it.

Usually most every forums/message board I go to I choose the name SuperLobster. The name is about 7 years old and was created by myself. Not that nobody has never muttered something like that ever, but it was kind of the creation of this ultimate, untouchable, undefeatable, silly icon. It's to the point that whenever I am with someone and they see something lobster related, they have to show me. I have also gotten many lobster-themed knick-knacks over the years as well.
Coming to this site, I thought it would be more appropriate to make it somehow dream related, so I just changed Super to Dream.
Universal Mind
11-16-2005, 09:52 PM
I first came here looking for information and interesting conversations about lucid dreaming. I had spent so much time arguing politics with rabidly shrill balls of hatred who only understand hostility and insults, and I came here for a place to chill out and talk about really far out things with people who would be wanting to get along and do the same. I chose "Universal Mind" because that is an Eastern concept that has fascinated me for a while. It refers to the single consciousness that all individual forms of consciousness are manifestations of. In a broader sense, it is the consciousness of existence itself. I thought such a name would be appropriate for conversations about consciousness and theories on what consciousness is and what its possibilities are. Interestingly, although I am getting more into lucid dreaming than ever, I feel like I have learned the meat of what I came here to learn, so I spend most of my time here in the philosophy and religion/spirituality forums arguing with jerky people and making fun of them for being ridiculous assholes. At this point, it seems like I might as well change my screen name to "Screw you, you evasive and hypocritical liar!" and make my sig line something that makes fun of Jesus. I am not on the road I started out on here. It's kind of like drug addicts who go to rehab and end up with nothing but more connections.

Some forums are more toughly debated.
On the contrary, the research forum is (too) quite and I think that in that forum there is the opportunity to discuss about lucid dreaming in a calm and "scientific" way. Not in the sense that spiritual or philosophical views are discarded, but in the sense that one is pushed to think on how to prove what s/he saying and ideas are debated, not persons.
I agree that most people just prefer to hang around and talk about topics which are totally unrelated with dreams (I often put myself in this category too...), but I think it's normal for large communities.
By the way, I'm going far from the topic about screen name choice (confirming what I'm saying) :)

I broke up with an abusive boyfriend that I had been living with for years... I was starting a new life for myself and rediscovering who I am and what I want... and I needed a new name for my online journal.
Akasha Aurora means "Dawn of the Spirt" (or "spirit dawn" if you wanna do a litteral translation) which is exacly where I am right now. My spirit/true self is starting a new day and therefore has unlimited choices/possibilities before it/me.
 I just realized how this idea I've had for months now does NOT translate well into proper/coherant sentance structure. I think you'll know what I mean though. :)

First off, I just flipped the dictionary open, found Exposition ( Which is usually the beginning into something, usually a part in music) And at the time I was playing a game and the level I was on had the word Forsaken. So, Im a "Beggining which should not have been...."

WOW. That bites. I'd been writing a long reply after I noticed I hadn't posted here yet, and I totally just deleted the whole thing on accident.
I really don't feel like typing it ALL out again, so here's the short version.
When I was a not-so-mentally-stable teenager (like we all are at some point) I had a minor brush with both MPD (Multiple personality disorder) and schizophrenia. More schizo than MPD, but MPD's the one that the name came from. Either way, I got over all that a few years ago.
Basically, I had two personalities, which I'd named Seru and Tsenru. Seru was the dominant one, and sort of a jackass. Basically, Seru was the antisocial bit of me. The name Seru came from a lot of random letters I'd written, and I sort of took a liking to it. I was really obsessed with the originality of it for a while, and when I found out Seru was already used as a name for a video game character, I was sort of devastated. A while later, I got out of the depressed-teenager bit and decided to adopt the nickname Tsenru, the more social and likeable part of me, to remind me of how I'd left the old me behind. I dropped the -ru suffix, though, since in the height of my mental instability I'd decided that the -ru's on the end of my nicknames denoted royalty or power or something, and I found that part of me really creepy afterwards, so I got rid of the -ru to further remind me that I'm leaving that all behind. I still use Tsenru every once in a while as a screen name, mostly when Tsen's already taken (Apparently it's a Korean name that's moderately common), or when there's a minimum character limit higher than 4.
Therefore, we wind up with Tsen. Pronunciation is like Blitzen, without the "Bli" or like Zen with a harder syllable out front.

although i couldn't say i'm much of a phantom-phan, i do have an interesting story about the phantom . . .
last halloween, the church i attend had a screening of the 1920s lon chaney film (which was pretty cool, and the only phantom thing i've ever seen), with live accompaniment by our church organist. in the middle of the show, this guy (who doesn't go to our church; in fact, no one there had ever seen him before) walks down the aisle to the back of the narthex and moves the cross into the one beam of light that's coming through the window, and kneels before it for a little while. people think it's kinda weird, but no one really does anything. later, we hear splashing sounds coming from behind us. so we turn around and he is at the bowl of holy water, drinking out of it, splashing it on his head, etc. so somebody goes back and quietly says, "this is holy water, you know." he says, "i know!" she says, "we've got a drinking fountain in the hall." he says, "don't question me!! i need it!!" so a couple guys from the church go back to talk to him. one of them says something, to which the guy responds, LOUDLY, "I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!?" they get him out of the sanctuary into the lobby, and eventually (i'm not really sure how) out of the church onto the street. meanwhile, another member of the congregation called the cops. after he had given the cops a description of the guy, they said something like, "oh yeah, he's been to a few different churches this evening doing the same kind of thing . . . " so they came by and picked him up off the street. we never really found out what happened to him after that.
so this doesn't have anything to do with my screen name, but it is a weird story that has to do slightly with Phantom of the Opera. afterwards, our priest wouldn't really comment on if she thought the holy water bowl was defiled and needed to be blessed/exorcised/re-dedicated or whatever (i don't really know what they do), but she said she would DEFINITELY wash it . . . :pope:

But I got the idea to name myself after an obscure philosopher from "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. Because the kids pick philosopher names to influence politics (e.g., Demosthenes). And, really.. I have never had to add numbers, or anything else to my name, no matter what website I sign up for, because no one else is ever called pyrhho.

I happened to have been named by a Dream Character. It's the first dream listed in my Dream Journal. Anyways, I woke up in a bodybag and struggled to get out. When I did, four other people were shocked to find out I was alive. One of them said, "Valvo are you O.K.?". The others were worried too. Then through a paned window two slim figures who looked like the grey aliens from the movies where knocking at the door. That's when I found out we were really aliens in disguise as humans. Anyways, it was a crazy dream and I decided to use the name as my screen name. The funny thing is, it was the first time I heard of the name and I later found out later that it was an actual name, of Italian origin. It means, "one who stutters". I don't stutter, but it's interesting none the less.

I dunno, I just thought it up when I was watching Shaun of the Dead. Then I used it while playing F.E.A.R. online, and people liked it, actually commented on it, so... There you go.

FreshBrains, I'd been wanting to ask you how you chose that name for the longest time.
Just never got around to it.
Now that mystery is solved, I can go back to contemplating the meaning of life.

Gawain
06-22-2006, 11:44 AM
My real name is Gavin, which I didn’t think was very special or nice until just about a year ago. My name comes from the Knight of the Round Table, Gawain, who is Arthur’s nephew and a key player in a lot of text. His name comes from Gwalchmei, or ‘Hawk of May’. After having done some research, this almost directly links to the Eagle/hawk in the tree of Yggdrasil, in Norse mythology. Having most of my father’s side be English, and most of my mother’s being Scandinavian, the name Gawain comes from English, mispronounced by the Norse, so the byproduct is Gavin... but I thought it would be conceited to put my own name up there just because I like it that much, and I personally haven't been recognized nearly as much as how cool Gawain is. So... ramblage terminated.
nerdiness +3 for knowing that
Edit: I leveled up yesterday. My very own character sheet is on my profile.

Luci (well actually Lucia, but I like Luci more) is my second name and it's almost lucid, so I liked that connection :-P

When Bob Vila dies, his body will be salvaged. Broken limbs will be replaced by machines. Useless organs will be replaced by gears. Bones will be replaced by bars. Sightless eyes replaced by fuses. He will rise and He will dominate. BobvilaX2000.
Damn, I came up with that in probably seventh grade. I was, what, thirteen? I'm twenty two going on twenty three now? I've been using that sn exclusively for almost ten years. If you ever see that sn on the internet, 99% chance it's me. I don't even think about it now. Whenever there is a space to choose a sn, there is no second thought about it, I instinctively type 'bobvilax2000'.
The 'X' came about because on AIM both 'bobvila' and 'bobvila2000' was taken. I was thirteen and thought the 'X' was cool and all super neato machine like.

The Blue Meanies are characters from the Beatles animated film, "Yellow Submarine". It's pretty trippy, you should check it out. I love the beatles, I love the film, and, the Chief Blue Meanie is SO damn cool. so... yeah. The Blue Meanie. :bigteeth:
Here's the only really decent picture of him on the net:

ReaLIllusion
07-07-2006, 12:42 PM
I've been kind of obsessing about the nature of reality and illusion (in waking life!) the past few months. Incidentally, my name (Maya) means "illusion" in Hindi, in the sense of our normal "real" world is an illusion of the senses. (That's not where my name came from though, my dad named me after a Filipino bird by the same name. It just seems to fit.)
Lucid dreaming blurs the line between real and illusion even more. What makes something real anyway?
My dreams are Real Illusions. Most likely, so am I.

I invented this moniker when I was in middle school and I thought it sounded pretty hot then so I've been using it for most things ever since. After subvocalizing the name thousands of times in your head it loses a little bit of its shine, but it still works well enough for me.
perkydreamer
07-13-2006, 12:15 PM
I chose perkydreamer because someone who is perky is alert, awake, aware.
Just thought it went with the theme of the forum and describes myself as well. :D

I like Penguins, and I like the number 13 because people think it's unlucky, so I choose PenguinLord13.
Courtney Mae

My name.
Only I'm debating changing my screen name to my actual name: Courtney Mae
But that sounds hick-ish...:P
Ardent Lost
07-16-2006, 10:13 PM
Hmmm i don't THINK i replied to this topic.
Mine basically refers to my spiritual "state" i guess. A while ago i tore down any belief system i had to start from scrath, so i have very little beliefs, thus no real base for my thoughts (ala lost). It's a great feeling though, so that's the reason for the "Ardent" on the front. I wouldn't be surprised if people misinterpret it as meaning i have lost the feeling of ardent or something, which would give the name a negative connotation, but that doesn't bother me too much. It was either this or "Lost and Ardent", which sounds kinda silly. It's rare that i come up with a screen name for any message board i visit that i end up really liking.
TweaK
07-18-2006, 03:58 AM
I needed a screenname, I saw "tweek" standing somewhere on a website.
I changed it to TweaK. End of story. 8)

I chose my name roughly 3 years ago as the name of a character in the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI. I wanted something unique and medieval sounding. It has no real meaning now, except being the name of the character that began the timesink that is FFXI. I spent over 4800 hours on that game... No more MMORPG for me!
spirit
07-26-2006, 09:24 AM
Spirit comes from my religion in Wicca, from the 5 elements, earth, air, fire, water and spirit. Out of the five, spirit is the most powerful and the most dedicated to the earth.
I am dedicated to my religion, friends, family and ambitions, so I chose to call myself spirit.

shark!
07-26-2006, 05:13 PM
my screen name was less of a choice and more of a quest...a quest of biblical epic proportions initiated in the old testament of the bible where the prophecy of Jesus began, Jesus was supposed to bring great things and that is where it began:
So yah... *ahem ...so God knocked up Mary and Mr. Jesus H. Christ was eventually born...he said some things w/e...but the real reason he was here became apparent just before he died on the cross. He proclaimed instructions on the "holy grail." The knowledge was so powerful that 850 people crapped their pants in the surrounding area, god works in mysterious ways (yah this really happened just read the bible, right after the part of death to gays) But one small boy, his life later chronicled in that Disney Screwdge documentary, Tiny Tim heard what Sire Jesus had said. Tiny Tim soon started the Knights Templar and later McDonalds...who hid the secret for like a really fucking long time. Infact till the time Robin Hood was born.
Robin Hood (aka Robin of the Hood) began his Marxist-Leninist re-distribution of wealth in England with the help of Che Guevara and Bolshevicks...He then realized he knew something that Tim had told him that was of great wealth... the ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~ part of my name...so he re-distributed this aswell...to me.
The next part of my name the "\o/" represents existentialism, facticity, nihilism, the irony of phenomenology,
as well as pretentious nonsense...um I won't explain how it represents those things here...you can ask or just figure it out on you're own...its like a puzzle really...
This quest lead all the way to the completely non-fiction documentary book called The Davinci Code, written By the fucking Ninja Turtle Leonardo Davinci him self! The very brave and courageous Tom Hanks became interco-mingled within the opaque secrets of the holy grail. and he was the one who discovered the very last part of my "name" ( I put it in quotes as it seems more than a name...) he discovered the last piece of a thousand year old puzzle...the shark fin the... "/\" symbol represented at the Louvre (((the \/ was completely a mistake only the /\ is correct! and important))))
Oh and the “shark!” part at the end was decided to be added by me...for clarity that it was a picture of a shark and a man...BUT to this day Scholars deep within the depths of all Ivy League schools and secret societies still debate over whether it was a good choice or not…

Love FFXI.
I came up with my other name Mor'raug Thaurus in SWG. That's my second screen name, and it means some kinda dark demon thing. I didn't use it this time because
a. its corny
b. the use of Shadow and dArkl0rd kind of things are used too much
c. I go by Gawain in my dreams, but my alter ego/evil twin's name is Moraug

Kastro - The name of one of the Outlawz in the group Tupac and the Outlawz
187420 - well, that just seemed like a good combination of numbers at the time.

I have no idea what a Warlock is supposed to look like, though.
But it kind of stuck with me after that.
Guess i will have to post a picture of me sometime... but now is not the time.
Bjango
08-19-2006, 07:23 PM
I chose Muhjah because it means "Heart's Blood", which was the name of a dragon in a fantasy trilogy I read a long time ago; and Mink, my avatar (and sometimes sig), is a dragon half.
[/b]
Ah wait! Is the series by Jane Yolen? (I think that's her name...)
Man, I read that series a while ago, but it was so damn awesome. >_<

My name? Psh, made it up. I like it tho. It has... spice.
Bjango... makes me want to bring out the chips and salsa or something.
my name used to be pOOp
and like
don't know where the hell that came from
don't think I want to know either
well anyway I wanted to change my name but keep the OO so as not to confuse so DoomedOne was crapping out a whole bunch or words that rhyme with pOOp
so one of the words he crapped out was sOOp
and my mom makes delicious potato soup
so I'm... potato sOOp now

icuurd12b42
08-20-2006, 01:44 AM
Mine has multiple meanings bunched up into a single string of characters. All relevant to my state of being.
I thought of it when I was almost dead.
Death, or close to it (Intensive care unit ICU)
Cheese (Curds or cuurd, what cheese is before being cheese) I love cheese!
Precog (I see you, you are the one to be ICUURD12B)
Remote Viewing (I see you ICU)
Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy (42, the meaning of life)
So, ICUURD12B42 is like: I see you, you are the one to be 42. You must be 41 then. Or one about to figure things out.
In my dying haze, it had more hidden meanings as well. I just can't remember all of it.
Leo Volont
08-20-2006, 06:05 AM
It was almost 40 years ago and one of my first Lucid Dreams.
My Kundalini Guru was out in the middle of a field behind a canvas and an eisle painting something and looking off into the sky. Oh, his yogic system was called SKY for Simplified Kundalini Yoga... he was one of the first Shaktipat Gurus. I walked up and asked him what he was painting.
He nodded his head with a tilt upward, and he said "Can't you see it ... A Flying Lion". And, yes, I looked up and there was a Lion with Wings circling above.
Leo and the french for flying... roughly... Volont. It also implies some degree of thievery... oh well...

Space Flower? Beautifully simple. Now it's one of my favorite drawings, too!
I don't like using my real name, i got bored of it a long time ago. So, i decided i wanted to use the name of a character from a book..but then i realised that all book characters i like are guys :| so, i sttled for "Lyla" as in the Oasis song (they're my fav band :bigteeth: )
