I know people who look into their dreams are generally open minded and are interested in other new science or un-explained issues. So do you guys have other interests like dreams. I like to read about quantum Physics, cosmology, esp, and ghosts. I also have a subscription to martha stewart magazine and consider myself an artzy domestic type.

I think a fair amount of us here have a LOT of far out interests. I read a lot about religion, philosophy, the nature of reality, quantum physics, strange theories, gonzo journalism, crazy poetry; I write poetry(the crazy kind), I write stories, I play video games(some, rarely any more), I have done a little art with my friends. Mostly, I read. I'm here to learn about what being here is. Why are we here, and how can I make the best of this existence. I'm young, but the nature of reality has haunted me since I was VERY young. I've never had any "true" system of organized beliefs, and probably never will, because I think it all starts to look the same after a while. There are patterns in everything, every where. A lot of things seem to make sense, but even more things don't. We learn, and we stumble, and we gape our way through life. It all has meaning, and I will just keep my senses ready to find that meaning. I have been to the bottom, and have risen back up, and yet I'm only 19. I have been through things other people only imagine. You want junkie? I was there. I've even done heroin(in the form of a speedball(speed and heroin mixed), that was supposed to be ecstacy, but we tested it and found out it wasn't). I've run with the rich, the poor, the middle class, the intelligent, the stupid, the extreme, the mundane, and I feel like I've experienced a lot for my short period here in this existence. It all feels like it's building up more and more every day to something big. I just stay calm, live life, be as happy as I can, and take shit slow. I am a high school drop out with an IQ over 140 that does Digital Photo Editing for a living, while trying to support my parents(and hey, my brother got laid off today, YEAH!), so I think the world is a pretty fucked up place. I feel like I've seen a lot of the pain and suffering(both physical and mental) that there is to see in this world, and now I'm ready to move on to the beautiful things, and leave the madness behind, to be remembered as a great legacy(that I can barely remember, ).

So... there you go, a brief summary of the composite of the madness that has made me me.

Same here, I just jumble a bunch of religions together to make my own religion. I'm chritian and jewish but I won't get into that...

Also, I probably have a high IQ (at least 120-130), I just act really stupid because it's fun...

Ode To Music.

VERSE 1:
Sing, sing a song of songs,
Sing it out, sing it strong

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!

The sweat pours from your body like the music that you play
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
So come on and play that funky music white boy
So come on and turn it up, bring the noise!

Tonight we’re alone and the music is right tonight
Do you feel good do you feel alright tonight

CHORUS:
Music is great, it’s good for you and me
It’s the one thing that can set your spirit free
Whether it’s rock or rap or country or punk,
Reggae, hip hop, metal or funk!
Push it through those speakers, and play it real loud
Nothing is better than that sweet sweet sound
When everything is looking down and everything is wrong
I know I can always lose myself in a song

VERSE 2:
Sing, sing a song of songs,
Sing it out, sing it strong

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!

Can music save your mortal soul?
Well, I love rock and roll
Music makes the people come together
Through music we can live forever

Tonight we’re alone and the music is right tonight
Do you feel good do you feel alright tonight

Well said.
I'm an artist, a writer, and a diagnosed crazy bitch. I'm into gaming, creativity, music, geeking, and finding out who the hell I'm supposed to be in this life. I love to sing but I have a horrible voice. :D I like to read and I'm curious about a lot of things that are considered out of the norm. Religion, culture, and human differences in general fascinate me. I have a lizard, a bearded dragon named Emme. I develop film for a living, so I inadvertently get to see everyone's clean and dirty laundry (you have NO IDEA what I see in a night...). It's a good thing that I'm not easily offended because, damn, some of the people in this world are twisted fucks!

A Lost Soul

Yes, I mean pictures. You would be surprised at what people take pictures of. I honestly don't think that some of these people know that their film is developed by real, living and breathing human beings. So in one night of work, we see all sorts of weird stuff. The only things we can't allow to pass through (with very good reason) is any pornographic material containing children or animals. We get to call the FBI on those assholes. Thankfully, though, we don't see a lot of that stuff. I've only seen it once and I hope I never see it again.

*nods* It's a good job, though. I like it, and the whole process that a piece of film goes through to become a picture is amazing. It's a whole lot better than working retail (been there, done that, ripped up the t-shirt). I guess that would be an anti-other-interest. :D Working retail sucks!

What goes through their heads? Porn is one thing--to each his own--but children are just children. Argh, I'm getting all teary just thinking about it... Anyway, once we handed the pictures over to the authorities, it was out of our hands, so I don't know how it turned out. I hope they found the bastards and did something nasty to them.

Thank whoever that my job isn't always like that. Those pictures are a rarity and I guess they hadn't seen anything like that for a few years. I can only hope we don't see any more.

Well, I'm not one to talk about these things because I think there are more important things in life. Maybe I'm old-fashioned (lol, that's fresh comin from me)...but I don't like people just sleeping around, using people for pleasure and what have you. There's already barely enough time to really figure out who you are and what you want, but even those who never even concern themselves with doing that, I think would find more pleasure that way than just handing themselves out.
I don't know...
I'm just a hopelessly naive little boy...

EDIT: I'm sorry, LostSoul, not to be mean, but I just have to say that I don't like the fact that people think "so-and-so can't measure up to him/her." I'd really rather not deal with it all...people shouldn't be ranked by the magic in their wand...when you find the right person, things will be better than with anyone else, regardless of all this talk about uglies. *sigh*

Considering that I will never, ever allow myself to fall in love again, I don't think there's anything wrong with jokingly 'ranking' a guy on his 'magic' abilities. And so what if I felt better physically with Mr. 2 than I did with my ex? That doesn't mean I'm ranking them as human beings. When I talk about sex and the penis (and a guy's 'magic'), I do so in a lighthearted way. I was also speaking rhetorically when I said that every guy in my life will have to live up to him. I'm not seriously going to compare every guy to Mr. 2. Everyone is different and of course there will never be anyone like him.

As far as sex being all lovey-dovey with the perfect mate: that's bullshit. I will never find the 'right person' because there is no such thing, so please don't tell me about things being wonderful with some 'Mr. Right' that doesn't exist. When I talk about sex and the penis (and a guy's 'magic'), I do so in a lighthearted way. I was also speaking rhetorically when I said that every guy in my life will have to live up to him. I'm not seriously going to compare every guy to Mr. 2 because everyone is different. Of course there will never be anyone like him.

But again, being that I am choosing my goddess (a woman) over any man, I'm not too concerned with whether some guy I share a f uck with down the path of my life worries that I'm comparing him to anyone. And if I do happen to think that I've had better? Aww... so sad. Too bad for him. *waves goodbye*

Editor's note: Keep in mind that Willow is in an excrutiating amount of pain, sans medication (it makes me puke--yippy friggin yay), and as a result is a tad grumpier than usual. I am not a slut, nor am I a man-hating feminist. Just a lot wiser. I also use the term 'f uck' a bit too liberally because I don't believe in 'making love'. Anymore.

Edit: Woah... what the hell's up with the 'fiddlesticks' crap? We've heard worse in Junior High school for crying out loud! Censorship is foolish.

I think at least 50% of women have, by their mid-twenties or so, had sex under circumstances that would intimidate, horrify and/or sicken all future unduly sensitive boyfriends if only they knew the gory details...

[Lost Soul appears to be batting a thousand for intimidation!]
