Freaked Out Experience

So there I was sitting in my room surfing the net. I had this urge to go to the kitchen(I have no idea why). To get to the kitchen, I have to walk past a small hallway and through the living room. Right before I entered it, something caught my eye. It was like this ball of flashing orbs(this got me a little freaked out, from watching those ghost shows about flying orbs), probably like the size of a basketball. it kept sparkling(think of firecracker day, where little kids can't use roman candles so they light up the little sticks that sparkles for like 2-3 minutes). expect of flying down, up and everywhere, it stayed a form of a basketball. I didn't feel like it was anything evil(like hostile presences, or whatever you call it) so I got closer to it(probably about 2 feet away). After about 12 seconds, I remembered I had my digicam in my room and decided to record it. Not knowing how long it would be there I ran to my room. By the time I got back it was already gone.

It's not raining so there's no way that could of been caused by it(even if it could).

The only thing I could think of, before going "paranormal" is orb (ball?) lightning. But I think that's what you meant when saying that's not raining there. You can try googling ball ligtning and have a look.

thanks for your post, I did. It looked nothing like those. I even looked it up on Wikipedia. All the pictures on the net shows a "Soild" orb ball. But the one I saw were flickers. Have you ever watch those ghost documentaries when they show a orb flying and disappearing? well imagine like 20-30 of those synchronized(not all going up and down the same time, but it stayed in that basketball shape) floading and flickering(sp)

I hope someone can help me.. I'm always home alone from when I get home from school to 11pm.. and sometimes I get really freaked out(hearing footsteps outside my door, catching shadows in the corner in my eyes, hearing noises) but this..
