23 F, which is ridiculously warm compared to what we've been getting most of this month. It was -25 the other day. I even heard it was supposed to stay above zero in a few nights--that's just crazy talk.

We hit I think 60 degrees F earlier this month. Normally we're at something like....20 degrees.

DAMN lake effect snow. I happen to live in the snow belt. One arctic blast after another. Friggin Alberta clippers going over a warm lake.
We have had five lake effect snows. 21" so far. Fortunately the one day got above freezing and melted it down a bit.

A good 3ft of snow, we're at a rate of 15cm a night now. Oh, and thunder was just heard twice! Our 2nd semester just started on Monday, and today (Thursday) is the first day that many people have been to school. Monday and Wednesday we're snow days, Tuesday was piled with snow so people just went boarding, and today busses were cancelled AFTER they got to the school :roll:

Because the temperatures are so low any moisture in the air turns directly to ice crystals.

Cold! It's in the mid 20's. All of the flowers are dead, the frogs are frozen, and it generally sucks right now. It was in the middle 70's at the beginning of the week, tonight, it will get down to 15. All the little baby birds will probably get it tonight. :(
