Video games ruin the lives of young children. I was playing this game, Grand Theft Auto 3, and I had the sudden urge to like totally kill people. Violence in video games needs to like totally stop, cause its like totally not cool and stuff.

Content is garbage, give me graphics or give me death. Pump me full of it, baby oh baby. Sweetly serenade me with more sports games! Madden football is teh pwnz0rs! I`m too lazy to go out and play a damn sport, so I will vegetate and twiddle my thumbs. I guess it's more productive then having them lodged up my ass, right next to my head.

last movie I saw was terminator3. it was great. Terminator > Matrix.

well games... Currently I play Quake3 Arena. Used to be into Everquest. Love Mortal Combat!!!! Wish I still had my Xbox

Last movie I saw was Kill Bill Vol 2. Was good but liked the first one better..... So yeah a lot of killing in my movies and video games muahahaha!!! whatever.....

Fennin Ro - Cleric, warrior, and um druid and Mag for a little bit. My cleric was in her 55 lvl and obviously my main char. I quit the game because it just got to big and lost tough with my guild. I may just have to start playin again someday... very fun game! U still play? And who ya callin a whore!?!?!?! hehe :rolllaugh:

funny thing is i used to know someone on your server... they went over to that server in the beginning when fennin ro got to big... hummm

paperdoll's reign is looking more appealing by the second.

i'll admit matrix one was OK, but it wasn’t what everyone built it up to be. now matrix two and three were pure shit. if you want see a real movie you should plug in one flew over the cuckoo’s nest or the godfather part one. now those are movies minus the hollywood bull.

Eventhough only a few people have ever granted me this, there is a very interesting sub plot to the matrix sequels. The only problem is it is hard to see through all the hollywood crap it is under, for I do admit there is a lot in these movies.

Try Fight Club, no crap at all...or Waking Life...or Memento

All these movies are virtaully flawless, as I also believe Matrix 1 to be...

Oh well..we can't all think the same...

I can't help but see fat lazy wannabe movie critics munching down some Doritoes typing a ravished negative review of the two movies, "because someone has to be bold and do it." Where is your authority?

I think the intricacy of the system of control and the story of the cycle is what makes those movies more than worthwhile. I also liked the different philosophies exposed in reloaded. They are all the views that one can have towards this system of control that has become reality.

I have always defended the movies and said that I like them, but do agree that they were filled with hollywood shit, stuff that didn't add to the movie but rather distracted from its true objective(vis-a-vis Rave scene :wink: ). The story of the cycle is brilliant, but many cannot spot it due to the fact they overlook it. That is what I think is the problem with these two. Otherwise, I do admit they are great movies, not the best movies, but really good....

I haven't seen the sequels to the Matrix yet, but I've heard mixed reviews about both.

I've been playing F-Zero GX today and it's pretty cool. A lot harder than it's predecessors.

Just got out, some one offered me 300 cash for the chanter, so I dropped him. I still have access to the account, but the game is way to boring to play any more

Well, the first one really displayed a philosophy and kept the action, while the others kind of degenerated into pesudo-intellectual banter. Plus, I think they hyped the sequals too much and brought up people's expectations. When they didn't turn out to be the greatest movies ever, people hated it.

But the best part of the triology (including the Animatrix), is that if you look closely, you can see that perhaps the humans never were enslaved and that the machines were the ones who were enslaved.

matrix 2 and 3 had no substance. no new ground breaking cinematography. the plots were sub standard and predictable. they were plain crap. the wachowski brothers were just trying to capitalize on number one’s success. it was just bad cinema.

don't get me wrong. i'm not some fat slob that sits around and critiques movies all day... i simply watched these movies and laughed through them. substance is sitting on the back burner while new directors are trying to use cutting edge technology to 'wow' the audience rather than make them think.

I wouldn't say they are slaves. It is a simbiotical relationship, in which they both depend on each other. But the machines have the upper hand and the true control over the situation imposing this relationship on the humans that really just want to be free. The only way in which the cycle could have ended, was the way Smith was suggesting: To end it all...

Otherwise the matrix revoltuions and it all goes back to the start...

I just saw Predator. It was pretty good besides the stupid plot. They did a really good job keeping up all the action. After that I played a game called Aliens Vs Predator. Its one of the best games I have ever played.

The best game I ever played? Metal Gear Solid.. With an intricate storyline woven between the characters to perfection, and a control system that can't be beaten, Metal Gear Solid rules above anything else... I thought that the Matrix was awesome, but they should have ended it at the first one, the 2nd and 3rd ones were to deep. Altough i understood them completely, the excess plot was unneeded

you're right, bacon.. the story did suck. they were basically trying to redo the same story as they did in the first one and add a gay character that was mistaken for a girl by the president (lmao). but its not all bad, the control system was better.. i guess i will have to wait until Snake Eater comes out on PS2

One of my favorite comedies, great movie. I guess it would be ok to relive the same day. It would kind of be like LDing, but without the powers. You can do whatever you want without any of your actions having any consequences. When you get bored of that you can use the time and use it to gain enlightenment, or learn everything you ever wanted to learn...

yeah, i have downloaded a lot of trailers for it. MGS3 looks insane. they say it might be delayed until next summer for some reason. Go to metalgearonline.org to view some awesome trailers and pictures for every metal gear game

I think that the Unreal Tournament game sieries is fuckin awsome. Also the Mothman Prophecys, Alien, Gladeador, 28 days later, Dawn of the dead, Mr. deeds.

I just saw "Chronicles of Riddick" in the movie theatre, the sort of expanded sequal to "Pitch Black". It was a great movie, and had a good original storyline, in my opinion.

MGS1 owned, despite how short it was. The best game ever, in my opinion.

Galaga still owns too. Mostly just because I kick ass at it.

And my cousin just got me hooked on mechwarrior. Neat game if you have a $150 joystick.
