hi, im new to the this forum so bear with me if i sound like a complete newbie

anyway, i have been lucid dreaming for just about my whole life. back when i was a kid i wondered if it was posible and walked abound pinching my self to see if it was in a dream, so every time i would dream i would pinch my self and become lucid. back then i was for some reason realy realy good at lucid dreaming. i could flawlessly and efortlesly control the dream. maybe just because i had a vivid imajination. but as i got older the ability faded. :( it sucks i know

i have a couple questions,

when i go to sleep i look at the blackness infront of my eyes and i start to see stuff. then i start to hear voices, and see random vivid images. does this hapen to anyone else?

after that i usualy have a lucid dream then i dream for just about the rest of the night not lucid and by the time i wake up im super anoyed because i couldnt get any decent sleep because i dreaming to much, its kind of anoying and i try not to do it often.

alot of times i have dreams were im "halfway" lucid, i relise its a dream but i cant change anything. its like im just a normal person in my dream. does this hapen to anyone else?

sometimes when i dream my brain gives phisical feelings along with the dream. it realy enhances the dream exsperience. they feel just like it would feel in real life. does this happen to anyone else??

hypnogogic imagery? is that what it's called? yes, this is common. happens to everyone when they fall asleep i'm pretty sure.

as for the rest, yes it's all happened. we've all been there.

Hey flip ( :finger: ) (I'm the person who brought you to this forum btw) just for your information, it is hypnogognic imagery and it happens because you are fallign asleep. You can use this to your advantage while using the technique wild. During wild, you should start seeing those flashes, don't control the flashes or will them to apear. Simply observe them and notice the different shapes and patterns. Eventually, you should see some vivid pictures of random things. Notice a picture or two and it should enlarge. Slowly you should enter the dream my making the picture enlarge and stuff.

sup flip?

nice to have you along.

One time in 4th grade i asked a teacher about all those 'things' one saw whith closed eyes, or falling asleep. Anyone with a vivid imagination can make them take form, it's beautiful. My teacher couldn't explain it, like he forgot about them, or just couldn't see, he thought I was crazy, but them the rest of the class came to my aid, they could still see them, too.

Now I see them all the time. They are energy, even though they are still, they are energy. Sometimes, as we grow older we can train the mind to hold onto it as a sense, it is applied in meditation, and especially focusing of energy. We are amazingly sensitive, we are taught to denigh it, but our senses remain, we but only have to practice with them.

Lucidity crosses somewhere and connects to consciousness at the place you are talking about. It is beautiful, amazing and even infinite nothing...it is so intense.

happy dreaming :alien:
