What this is impossible and really sad.

Is that real!!? :?

I couldn't make out what the people were saying, can anyone translate it? Also is the baby still alive?

My computer wouldn't let me see it. Is there any other sight it is found on?

If there are any Turkish people on here maybe they could translate it since it's in Turkish.

However if you ask me this is a bad bad joke. Doesn't it seem funny to anyone that during the entire movie the supposed monkey-baby doesn't ever move a muscle? Seems like a doll with a realistic skin to me. Dolls don't move.

Uhm-kay. Well whatever it is.. it's sad.

If it's fake.. it's sad and if it's real.. it's even sadder.

I don't believe it's real due to the fact that not only did it not move.. it didn't blink
(LORD, let's hope it's not DEAD and they're just showing us what is possible)!!

what date was it broadcast on?

Gwendolyn

Looks like anencephaly to me... Looks very similar to a real condition. It's rare because most women who find that their babies have it abort because those that are not born dead often die within a few hours. Look it up.

It is genetically impossible..

Even if it is real, it's rather some mutation, definitely not a baby born from sex with a monkey :S

Read my above post. It isn't a monkey person. That is genetically impossible. It's a real medical condition in newborns.

Have to say I thought it was fake at first, but after reading the wikipedia page on anencephaly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anencephaly), I think Gwendolyn is right

Ok.. if this is a baby with anencephaly, I think it's disgusting that they are parading it around in this manner.

Please let the child have some dignity and peace for how ever long he or she may live..

It would not be big news - the article says it is common.

I think this was probably a poorly informed april fools joke that just made it online.

Gwendolyn

I know. It's sad that people would parade it around. But, theoretically it could be real.

Wow, nice insult there. Real original.

I don't believe it's real due to the fact that not only did it not move.. it didn't blink[/b]
Yes, infants born with anencephaly are mostly unable to move. Their forebrain, the part that contains the motor areas, is completely missing in this condition. They are still able to breathe and beat their heart, but... I don't know if I'd want my child to be alive in such a state.

I don't this this is scientifically possible.
I know we have realized that our genes are almost identical to that of some primates any offspring to my knowledge could not happen.

But inquiring minds want to know.

EDIT> Sorry Gwen I missed you one post.
I agree with you.
Who knows what mutations can and can't look like.

The biggest freaks are those who put on freak shows IMO.
Although, if I were a freak, I'd consider the entertainment industry if the pay was good!

Gwen is right about the anencephaly.
The baby is not moving because it's unconscious - essentially there is no brain - so fortunately also no pain.

It is just some genetically fucked up Human baby. Probably it wasn't a monkey, it has her cousin the woman had sex with. Actually such fucked-up baby faces happen more often in the world.

Like try drinking a bottle of vodka a-day during when you are pregnant, probably you will get a video on the internets too.

Actually it moves it's head/neck a little bit if you watch carefully, most noticeable in the first or second scene. It is a bit strange how it never moves its arms or legs or any other part of its body for that matter..

Creepy.

It's not a monkey. I think it's a real baby with a condition that has been previously mentioned. You might want to see pics of that before you look...I thought it was a little disturbing. I thought about it a lot after that.

It's doesn't particularly look like a monkey, but yes, it's scary. In a wierd genetic screwup kinda way.
And it does seem to be legit - you can see it's mouth move as it breathes at one point.
Plus the twitch of it's neck.

I doubt it's sentient though. Thank goodness for that.

Here are some...You can also google it. : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anencephaly[/b]

Although the eyes in that picture look similar to the baby from the video, it isn't exactly like it. The baby looks like it's missing a nose completely, has an extremely odd shaped [if you can even call it] mouth, and the head is closed (the article states that the main part of the disease is the failure of head to close).

Basically, with the exception of the shape of the eyes, I don't see any similarities between the picture of the fetus from the article and the baby from the video.

I think the thing that makes it so creepy is the music they play in the background. It really sets a creepy and ominous mood when you watch the video. It's just a baby with a big birth defect, not the anti-christ.. there isn't anything to be afraid of.

JCee
04-18-2007, 09:15 PM
AHH!! I was thinkin the exact same thing, just, I wasn't sure if I saw the same video as everyone and I didn't want everyone thinkin I was phsyco or something because maybe there wasn't music in the back...I guess I did see the same one as everyone else. Man, that is why I dislike scary movies so much, the music... :whyohwhy:

Have you looked at other babies with it? Go to the medical pictures. They show many variations on this disfigurement.
