I can get SP nearly every night when i go to bed normally and sleep on my back. Up until last week when i found out about lucid dreaming and WILDing i used to just shake myself awake as soon as i became paralised. Ive started relaxing into it now and seeing what happens and i had 1 decent lucid dream when i first tried it. After i stay in SP for a while i start seeing things (faces usually) and a ringing starts in my ears and i feel like im spinning. BUT, then it gets really loud and intense and when i start going into the dream i get pains in my chest. It gets really painful and continues into the dream. I figured out i need to let the dream pan out for a while so that im not moving my real body when i start trying to move, but each time i try to wait it gets too painful and i have to bail out. Any thoughts?
When i did succeed the first time the pain stopped when i started controlling the dream, but it wasnt nearly as painful as the last few nights. (Last night i tried 4 times in a row and bailed out every time, i was exhausted and a bit freaked out afterwards)

Sometimes during SP I get the feeling that something "jabs into me". (It also occurs at random upper body locations - I don't think I've ever felt this on my legs before)

I seriously hate this feeling - its so damn powerful and uncomfortable. It resembles a tickle, pin-pointed to one area - and is just non-stop.

I can usually battle the feeling for a minute or two, and if I start my lucid by then, the feeling goes away as I start to get some visuals. Other than that, I have not figured out how to control this, or make it go away once it has began.
