Not to wax religious on you guys, but All Hallow's Eve (or Samhain) is a big night for us witches. :D It's basically our New Year's Eve, when we celebrate the neverending cycle of life and death. It's my favorite holiday.

Yes, I still light a pumpkin. *Useless piece of information #1: The original Jack-O-Lanterns were actually carved into turnips, not pumpkins).* Yes, I do dress up. In fact, my dad surprised me with a pretty midieval dress to wear this year! For once, I got the night off and I'm going to pass out candy with my mom in the evening. When the kiddies are done for the night, I'm going to have my own private ceremony and ritual commemorating the holiday. But that's all kind of religious stuff, so I won't get into it too much. Suffice to say, it'll be a special night for me and I'm really looking forward to it. :)

Why is there no "No" option? Can't you believe some people don"t give a damn about Hallowe'en?

Come on! It's so kitsch !
(Now if I were born in the US and had celebrated it since I was young, of course I might think differently. Don't take it personnally lol. It's just typical French banter behind Yankee's backs.)

Why is a thread from over 3 years ago bumped!?

But either way, me agrees with Burns. Halloween <3 (though it sucked in my area last time :( )

Because they wanted the cobwebs for the authentic halloween feel? That's the only reason I can come up with on short notice.
