If money was no object and you knew that you could not fail.. what would you be or do?

I'd be either an actress:popcorn: or a singer  (the typical answers) or a professional ballroom dancer. :dancingcow:

Now it's your turn.. tell me.. what would you be or do?

I am obsessed with Halloween and Haunted House attractions. My dream is to someday own my own haunted theme park. It would have haunted houses, actors to scare people throughout the entire park, a Halloween themed miniture golf (gotta love mini golf), a Haunted Hay ride, gift shops, a kiddie place for the children, and some blacklight attractions. It would be a giant park open every October and it would be tricked out with the lastest digital effects. Lasers, blacklight, fog machines, giant monster animatronics, some creepy music blaring over different speakers throughtout the park. It would have a Pumpkin Patch that you could walk through with hundreds of beauitifully carved Jack-o-lanters. I've given this a lot of thought ;)

If money were no object...

I would still be involved in business, but be working a lot less at bringing in income and a lot more at music. I would be very comfortable about hiring a studio and engineer and bringing in sessions people rather than trying to do everything myself, and everything I've ever written would be recorded in a proper, presentable fashion.

My real joy in music is in writing and composing, followed by performance. Recording is an art unto itself, which takes as much (or more) time and effort to learn to do well as learning an instrument. Trying to record even simple songs in my home studio and having the results meet my standards is so intimidating and so incredibly time consuming that very little ever gets done.

That's really about the only thing I'd change, other than maybe investing in more northern property. I would live no more extravagantly than I do. I would strongly resist the urge to spoil our kids, and I would continue keeping my father's axiom of alway holding something you want back so you always have something to look forward to and dream about (as far as acquisitions go.)

Since I have seen pretty much of the way my life has turned out and had it to do over with and a little more gumption and get go to get myself motivated I would become a Shaman. In my lifetime so far I have had three visions (full blown and awake visions), a number of trances and numerous Lucid dreams. Howsomever.....I aint done crap with none of it. I just sit here and watch my life flow by like a slow moving stream. Remember that old prophetic saying that says, "when your ready a teacher will come.".....Well, it's bullshit. (ha ha) You actually have to go out and find one. And now I'm too old to care.

If reality were no issue, I'd be a super hero. Not joking. My life would be dedicated to fighting crime... and flying around the world.

If reality were an issue, but money and time weren't, I'd be a secret agent.

I'd love to play softball in the olympics. Maybe increase my piano skill, since I love playing but sometimes it takes me forever to learn songs. And improve my drawing so I could draw faces that actually look like my subjects. :P

Infaredkelp, I'd go to your theme park! :D

If money is no object, I'd travel. We'd pack up the cats and dog and start seeing the world. :)

I would write all the time and do a lot of travelling to countries, bodies of water, museums, and all of the places I have ever wanted to go. I would spend a lot of time on trains, cruises, and cross country car rides, and I might make it a point to ride a train across every continent. Thrill sports like skydiving, snow skiing, and jet skiing would be an every day part of my life. Scuba diving in places all over the world would always be on my agenda. I would make myself look extremely rich so that the realm of women would be just a big buffet. And oh yeah... since it will soon be possible for people who are very rich, I would often go into space.

I have to think for a little bit about that.

Some of your dreams (JCee, Ranma, Clairity) are attainable; you should do those things.

A guy at work yesterday asked if I would buy him a boat if I won the lottery. I said yea, what kind? He said a 24 or maybe 26 foot (I already knew it was for fishing.) I said that I would, but that he would have to take me fishing anytime that I wanted to go, be my on-call fishing guide.

Since possessions are always a burden, maybe I could buy all the things I'd like to use every once in a while for other people, and then just go hang out with them when I feel like using it. A condo by the beach for one person, one in the mountains for another. I'd have a boat-friend, and a plane-friend, and a horse-friend. All the benefits for me, with none of the responsibility.

Cool! Make me your "place on Lake Superior near the Pictured Rocks" friend...

Come to think of it, make me your gas station friend instead.

I definitely need a Lake Superior friend, so you got it. And I'm sure they need gas stations up there, so...

If I could do anything, with unlimited money and no chance of failure...I would be a paranormal investigator. I know its really odd, but I would like to go to all the places in the world where really strange, unexplained phenomena is going on and see if I could get footage of ghosts, Bigfoot, the jersey devil, aliens, etc...

I'd graduate highschool early, get my docterate in Psychology without having to worry about finances. I would then proceed to get married, have two children and get a house in some small town not too far from my office. Taking a small break before my career starts, but after college, I would travel for a while with my fiancee and learn about the cultures.

I'd be the world's oddest pirate, expertly trained in the martial arts, specifically Aikido, Okinawan Kempo, Jujitsu, Wu Shu, and Chinese kick-boxing. I'd also have my dog, Daisy, genetically altered into a superdog so that she could keep up. I'd captain a pirate ship called the Black Krayt, (or maybe the Indubitable Turtle, not sure...)and pillage and steal from the rich merchant ships to give to the poor settlements. I'd carry a custom-designed, specially-built lightsaber (I figure if money and reality are no objects, why bother being realistic) and be able to use the Force.

Invincibility, while sounding good, would seriously limit the possibilities of fun, because what's the use of taking a risk if the worst it could do is effect world economy? If you can't die, life is pointless. However, a greatly extended lifespan would be awesome.

I'd commit much of my funds to overthrowing Pyrofan1. :D

Seriously, I would just travel. I would go wherever I pleased whenever I pleased at the drop of a hat. Experience as much of this world as I could for the rest of my life. Selfish? Yeah. But I never claimed not to be.

If money were no issue...

I would hire everyone with an IQ above 90 to work on/research the technology behind a matrix-esque computer system. Oh yeahhhh, MULTIPLAYER LUCID DREAMS, BABY!
