Too distracted to RC

I've noticed that on a normal boring day, I make RC's constantly . but when theres something happening, like someone is coming over or im going somewhere, I forget doing RCs. this is a major bummer, because dreams are usually more like the 2nd type of situations.
In short, I am distracted by not normal situations and forget to do RCs, and dreams are usually not normal.

I've stopped RC for most of this month and havent LD or dream recalled because im too distracted irl and other things on my mind. So i thought id take a break from it.

I cant RC or dream recall with things on my mind, so i say why not take a break or something? Then get back to it.

That's when dreamsigns come in to remind U to do them. Do U have any dreamsigns?

I should practice what I preach, but try linking RCs with strong emotions, common though they may be. For instance, whenever you're hungry, or thirsty, or even when you have to use the toilet. Of course, you should probably pick an emotion/feeling that might occur in a dream more often!

For instance, I notice that I often feel anxious in my dreams, so every time I feel particularly anxious in waking, I do an RC... Or, at least I should! :D

i dont mean im distracted in general, i mean im distracted by a current situation.
when im at home and everything, i do RCs regulary. this is often how i become lucid, when i have a 'normal' dream with nothing unusuall (which distracts me eventually).
sadly, i dont have much of these normal dreams...
i've yet to find a dream sign that appears really constantly in my dreams. theres a person i dont see much that appears in my dreams, and it does trigger lucidity so thats not a problem.
ill just have to try harder and RC when ever something out of the ordinary happens.
