Yeah, jeans really suck. I wonder why they are so popular though. I guess because they've very hardy? Like, they last a while and can go without a wash. :p I don't wear them, ever. Just to give a different angle on rough clothing, I don't like wearing soft clothes at all. Neither do I like wearing blue jeans (never wore them in my life), but I prefer my clothes to have enough tactile sensation to them that I can at least know that they're there. It's hard to describe, but if I put on something like pajamas and a bathrobe and walk around all day in that, I almost feel disconnected from real life, like I'm hiding behind a buffer of soft cotton. I don't like that feeling for waking life, I prefer to be stimulated and alert, and rougher clothes (thick khaki denim, ie) help me do that.
