Interpreting Dreams

Can someone tell me what this dream means.

Some time ago I had three dreams in one day (One in the morning, Once during the day, and the next at night) And they all had to do with "Fish". I'll first put my first dream and later sill put the rest until someone can tell me what the first one means.

My Dream: I find myself in the middle of the ocean with no land around me. I'm floating from my sholders up in the water. I'm standing on an egg, which is the thing thats making me float. The water is clear and blue, thats how I could see the egg. I'm extremely worried about the situation and all of a sudden a shark attacks me! I wake up instantly.

Anyone have any comments?

I'm also new here and if you dont believe me. I was told to try this in by a dream I had last night. In the dream a person told me to look for a place where you share dreams and that I would find something of a great significance there. He made me promise me that I would do this. So here I am.

Well I'll just post the rest of the dreams. I wont put the second one because its too long and detailed for me to remember every thing. It was mostly about someone like a teacher showing me how too eat an unlimited supply of a strange fish. It was a white fish that could be stretched and very weird, but there is a hall in a mountain where you find them swimming. More stuff happened that I cant remember very well. This was the most strangest dream I ever experienced.

My 3rd Dream: I've just come in from fishing, why I dont know, I dont fish at all. I walk into a big building with at least five fishes in each hand. These fishes were huge, I had to grab them by the tail and they were of different colors, not one looked the same as the other. I remember walking into a room that had a lot of tiles around the floor, walls and ceiling. With a mirror and a sink. Much like a restroom. I find myself two big barrels filled with water to put my fish in. One hand in one barrel and one in the other. I guess I was proud that I caught these fish. But in one barrel, there was a disterbance in the fishes. I check to see the barrel and it looked like my fishes were being attacked by something in the barrel. I found out that I caught a baby shark aswell and it was eating my other fish. I knew I had to do something or else my fish were gone. I tried taking it out but it would want to bite my hand. I then went for a stick and took it out, layed it on the floor and with anger started hitting it to death with the stick. But when I was hitting it, the shark started to take the form of a naked girl, I then had to stop my fury when seeing this girl on the floor. I then had compassion for the girl as if I had forgotten that it was a shark before. I got closer to her but I dont know if from this point I woke up or I just cant remember anymore. But this dream is one of many of the things that I wouldn't find myself doing, or why am I in this situation.

I know there's an interpritation for this dream. Somebody know what someone or something may be telling me? I would apriciate any comments at all.

Well, IZ, what are your beliefs concerning Christianity?

By reading your last dream, the first thing that pops in my head is that the fish represent your aspects of a good and healthy life. However, that shark is the predator that eats it. But since the baby shark is also what I assume is an innocent girl, it could symbolize some innocent aspect which you mistakenly assumed was evil...this kinda interpretation is common.

I don't know your emotions about the dream. Finally, you decide how to interpret it!

Well you could say I am religious because I do have a strong faith in god. But I'm no saint. Yeah many do tell me that the dream has to do with religion. Maybe its telling me to look out for a shark thats coming my way to hurt my friends or not to judge people by their actions. Or maybe whatever.

The ocean is the ocean of Samsara.....where you drift, lost in the seemingly endless cycle of deaths and rebirths.

The egg signifies the Unborn, the Uncreated, the Unmanifested (in other words, the Absolute or Ultimate Reality). Though it is Unborn, Uncreated, Unmanifested etc, everything that exists come/emanate from it.

The water is clear= your mind is clear.

The shark could be some spiritual obstacle in your life. I would think you fear the shark as your Ego feels threatened. Separation between self and other exists because you have not realized the inseparability of Nirvana and Samsara (the indivisibilty of the Absolute and the Relative). Once you have the realization of Non-Duality (the highest spiritual goal possible), you need no longer fear the shark, as you and the shark are one and the same. The illusion of separation dissolves when the Ego is realized as an illusion.

The girl is an Aspect of your Mind, your Dakini (Keeper of Esoteric/Secret Wisdom). She is beyond compare and no different from your Pure Awareness (the Clear Light nature of your mind).
