Normal people have poor observation, they can't even count things. Now take this test and you will see that I have a better observational skill then most as I passed this test.

Can you count the passes by the white shirt, just do the video first and don't read the comments as they tell you the anwser.

Also don't read below here because I will post the anwser and this will spoil the test.

No body post the anwser, so then everyone would have a chance to fail. If you can't help yourself then put it in a spoiler thing.

I both counted the passes and noticed it.

And memorized what each kid was wearing because I was bored.

HOW MANY PASSES WERE THERE? Did I just miss it? That's stupid that it doesn't even say.

I thought there were 16 and I noticed the second time it played.

I missed it both times, but then I always get tunnel vision when I'm focused on a task, so I'm not surprised. At least I counted 15 properly. :)

Bahaha, that's awesome. I saw it.

Guess I have better observational skill than most too.

I saw it too, but IRL I have terrible observational skills. That's why I suck at lucid dreaming.

Not only did I count the correct amount of passes, I also noticed the big furry gorilla walking across the room. If I wasn't so focused on counting the passes, then I would have laughed cause it looked funny.

I counted 16 both times, but i didnt see the gorilla. Im pretty sure the answer is 16. There was 1 pass that was hard to see, the boy passes it to the girl and immediately passes it to the other boy, but the boy was in front of the ball so it was really hard to see.

I do have a tendency to get very focused on something and forget things or not very observant when things outside of my range of focus appear.

However, I think that there's a difference between passive observance, and noticing something when you're focused on a task. If I'm just casually observing, I'm more apt to notice things that are new. It's an interesting study nonetheless.

I counted 16 and yes, I missed the ape. Good stuff.

The second time around I did notice someone walk into there and thought "there's an extra person there" but didn't realize it was a gorilla.

I got 16 and saw the gorilla, but I read about this in a book called Exploring Consciousness so I kinda already knew...lolz.

I got 16 (since no one else is adding a spoiler) at first I thought person missed the last pass and wasn't sure. But the end of it I just thought What the heck no way, so yeah I missed it.

man when the gorila showed up I almost had a heart attack lol.. it really got me frightened. i was so focused on counting that when I thought "what is that shit blocking my sight" and looked at it, I got scared. Wouldn't have seen it if the camera hadn't zoomed in though
