Rather than having 600 threads based on people leaving, when they actually dont, howabout if your l;eaving you just pop in this thread and let everyone know?
Then we can all politefully ask you to re-consider in here. ;)

How is this official? Did it get an admin seal of approval? No?
Then it's not official.

People, Go Ahead and Leave.
Although it happens, I don't think we want to promote or aid in the efforts of members leaving, do we?
There are not ALL That many.
The staff should combine them all.
This would do two things.
!. Consolidate them all for obvious reasons
2.Two = Maybe people would think twice when they realize they are in the mix of a group of members who left. Rather Than I Am leaving! > Look at me :!:

But then they actually would leave.
So to do the others. But they want their OWN thread so they can see how many members reply so they can pull their tallywacker over it.
Combine them into a group., making them less important and frankly if they get tot he point they want to leave it is more than likely best for the Forum.
I have not seen a lot of positive posts in Lou of them leaving (or saying they are.

Well this light - hearted attempt at a joke is now a rather serious issue?
The best way to revert it back is to move it to senseless banter
:)

I don't think so.
I think it should be addressed. seriously!
Kinda like I suggested.
I have a suggestion; anybody who leaves and ANNOUNCES they are leaving should get banned. Permanently.
If people leave quietly, they should be allowed to come back at will. If you wanna sing a swan song though, it should cost the same as it does the swan.

Haha. As mentioned before, people who make a topic about them leaving never leave. They always come back. Only those that leave quietly actually leave (and even in those cases they come back, like me. Darn you Dreamviews!).
I also suggest adding to the original post (first post) that the members who'll make their leaving post should make their post in bold printed or something, or a colour like red, so it's obvious who's leaving and who's just chatting and saying "OMG I WILL MISS U".

Yeah, they should ban everyone that temporarily think they will leave, but get drawn back. It is the root of all evil. It is worse than flaming, racism and posting horse-pornography. People that change their mind are the reason society is in the gutter.
Yeaaa...
Thank you for reinforcing my point so very elegantly.
Well, we'll miss you less.
