There are dozens of threads on this topic, but I feel like we could use one where anybody who has experimented with a drug, vitamin or even food can share their experiences in a methodical way. For example, citing the name of the substance, where to buy it, when to take it, how long until the effects kick in, and what the effects are. Please only post if you've had experience with it.
I'll start:
Name: Citalopram 20mg
Substance: Mild antidepressant (SSRI: selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor)
Experience: On the first day I took it I had a nap, and in my dream I felt really weird. I could see my hand in front of me, but it was like it was underwater. I did a RC, had a lucid, etc. I felt the dosage was too strong so I halved it (10mg per day) but had lucid dreams every time I slept, even if it was a 30 minute nap. 2 weeks later I started having normal dreams, but my dream recall is through the roof, and my dreams always extremely vivid. I'm thinking of taking the normal dose in a couple of months, so I'll posts my results here.

A really good book I'm reading is in my signature. I havent tested yet but I will when I finish, I'm almost done.
you said it yourself: there are allready a dozen of topics on this subject. Creating a new one is just gunna make people jump from one topic to the other without following 1 through; This is exactly the thing that makes these forums less and less interresting to read.

I'm going to move this over into "Lucid Aids".
Mixed Man, you may want to have a look through that section and find if the one you mention has already been posted about. If not, you may want to change the topic of this thread and maybe use it to discuss Citalopram and your experiences with it.

Why? The guy wanted to make a thread about all the dream drugs, it's his right, why take the wind out of his sails?

If you look closely, I'm actually trying to push more winds INTO his sails. He'll get more relevant responses in this area. Also, I merely suggested he "may want to change" the topic. It's up to him.

ok, I'll just post this on another thread, thanks anyways
MixedMan, why don't you discuss Citalopram only in this topic? It could still make for a good topic. BTW is that a Benzodiazepine? It sounds like one.
Also: Have a look in this forum at a Topic of mine named: "DreamPotentiating Herbs listed". I tried to gather all dreampotentiators in one topic to gain oversight. This seems a little bit an a-typical dreamenhancer so it probably doesn't go in my topic and deserves one of it's own.
What kind of drug is Citalopram? It doesn't sound like it's easily available unless you have a doctor's prescription.

yeah, i got a doctor's prescription, but it's a very mild drug, and it's very easy to get a prescription, at least in spain. it's not a Benzodiazepine, at least not from what I read on the internet, it's a SSRI.

Burns turned me onto a supplement called Omega-3 fatty acids, not a drug but this will seriously increase your dream vividness considerably and in turn this causes an increase in recall i really suggest this to anyone! Burns if you read this thanks alot!
