not that a job says anything about you here's a survey for us to know eachother better.
What do you do for money?
if you had enough money to not have to work, what would you do all day.

I decorate cakes at publix and plan to go back to school for elimentary education in January.

I would do all different kinds of artwork and volenteer.

I am a software engineer and test software for industrial control operations all day.

If I didn't have to work, I would do the following all day:
Make videos (all sorts)
Take pictures (mainly wildlife and nature)
Hang out with my wife!
Drink way too much!

I work for a company that takes photos of children(not that kind you sickos!) sporting events, and sometimes adults, and then sells those pictures to the parents. My exact job is data entry and digital photo editing. Crap work. I'm under paid and over worked(make $7.50, which is less than half of EVERYbody else in my company, though I do the same, if not more, work), but since our society is the way it is, and the economy is so shitty, I don't have a choice bu to drag my ass in here every day an torture myself.

If I didn't have to work every day I would LIVE! I would do all kinds of things, I would travel everywhere and see everything, meet all kinds of people and do all kinds of crazy things. I would see the world, and study humanity. I would write and write and write! I would do WHATEVER I wanted EVERY SINGLE DAY! It would be glorious, indeed....

I'm fighting for that freedom now.

Tech... @ Intel
Process Engineering
Advanced Equipment repair and troubleshooting
Wip monkey
And way underpaid to be doing it..

Wip is Work in progress... a frikin chimp could do it... but its what I spend most of my time doing... and not the stuff that I should be doing, like fixing stuff and making process desicions

If I had enough money.. I would sell all my stuff, get rid of all my debt and travel, and go to places EVERYWHERE... I want to see as much of this beautiful world that I can, from the tallest peaks to the deepest trenches in the ocean. and take pictures...

Most of the time I do NOT follow trails, I make my own, challenging myself, my mind and body, to get myself back to my starting point without getting lost or killed, which I might add have almost done several times... hehe

Almost died out in the south phoenix desert, nearly fell out of the canopy of an ironwood forest on Long island, and almost fell off the coastal cliffs in oregon, a falcon told me to stop and go back so I did =)

My idea for a TV show would also be put into place. =)

What do you do for money?

I work at Konica Photo-Imaging, developing pictures for half of America. I mostly work on the machines that cut the prints (they are printed on a big roll of paper). I also inspect, sort the orders according to where they are going, and I've put in a couple of hours in the lab. We get to use some really neat night-vision gear in there! 8)

I would spend more time with my artwork and my writing. Knowing me, I would also set aside a few hours for some game or another. :-P

No kidding?

My daughter wants to be one, or at least she wants to make the money that they do.

So, are you going to present a paper on us at your next convention?

interesting. I forgot to add travel....I'd love to travel too, but I get really home sick....I'm such a home body...and I forgot if I was rich and could pick my own job I would open an animal rescue/lama farm.....I think a farming lifestyle would be really rewarding, and I would'nt be lazy if I knew animals depended on me.....for some reason I could care less if people get their birthday and wedding cakes...I hate wedding cakes!

Ooh, ooh! *bounces up and down in her chair (because she can't very well jump on her feet!)* If you do can I be in it? I've got an interestingly twisted mind!

You friggin rule. I absolutely love animals and I have a lot of respect for people that devote their lives to them. If I were rich enough, I would probably own some sort of zoo or farm. I'm already halfway there.

-a dog with ADHD (I'm so not kidding. You guys should see her. She's a riot.)
-a retarded cat
-a meathead hampster named The Fluffinator because he was on his wheel "bulking up" 24-7 (he passed away a couple of days ago at the ripe old age of 3 *sniffle*)
-a semi-retarded and shedding (read:grumpy) lizard who can sleep like a ROCK in any position, no matter how uncomfortable it looks. And I swear an earthquake wouldn't wake her up.

Oh, and get this: my mom wants to get another dog to housebreak our current dog. That's neat and all, but my dad wants it to be a lab. No offense to dog lovers, but labs are just plain stupid. I don't know what it is about that breed, but damn... rocket scientists they are not. My mom and I joked that between the two, they might have half a brain. :-P

We live out in the country and have the following:
6 dogs
11 cats
1 chipmonk
1 hamster
many wild birds at the feeders
several rats that eat what falls from the feeder
racoons and squirells that steal from the feeders
foxes, dears, bears that make random appearances

Sometime, I would like to fence in 4 or 5 acres and get some llamas, alpackas, and donkys

lamas are beautiful and not to mention adorable...I've looked up breeders for the hell of it before, anf they live in groups and should be bought this way( so they say) which is alittle pricey, like a moderate car.

Wow, Seeker, you have a chipmunk? Tame or wild? I had a skunk when I was a little girl. My stepfather was an evil bastard, though, ao I kept her in an outdoor bunny cage at my uncle's house, which up the street from where I lived at the time. Her mother, we assume, was hit by a car and she was wandering around during the day. We caught her and brought her to the vet for cleaning, vaccination, and to have her little stink machine taken out. And we kept her. I remember feeding her out of a little bottle for awhile, and then she ate cat food. :) I wouldn't mind having another skunk as a pet if the oppurtunity arose. They really make awesome pets; they are just like chubby little cats, only a little more mellow.

Serinanth: WTF are you screaming and running away from a herd of llamas for?! You're a DRAGON for crissakes! :-P AHAHAHAHAHA! That just painted an awesome picture. I've got to draw that. *cackles gleefully*

Hi Lost Soul,

Hope you are not hurting too bad, you should be ready to have a dull ache for the next week by now.

We have a tame chipmunk. I rescued him from our dog lot. He was the only one to survive. He is now about 3 years old.

Llamas are good for protecting other livestock. Coyotes and wolfs don't like to be around them. Donkeys are also useful for protecting herds from wild critters. By the way, my occupation is teacher, musician, composer.
