When I have non lucid dreams,or even in lucid dreams I have alotta false awakenings, sometimes triple or even quatriple, Im in a dream and then suddenly Im in my bed,and Im like..yes..another lucid dream, but then i check my clock(Reality checks always work for me..especially clocks and device failure) and its all messed so I realise Im still dreaming so I get up but in mere seconds this process just repeats itself,I wonder why that is, do any of you people have that much false awakenings?

Lucius.. you may learn soon that I don't share a lot of the same dreams as other people. I've said it before, but damn, I didn't even think about false awakenings...that's yet another common thing I DO NOT have.

I've got the feeling I still have a long, hard road of trial and error ahead of me...

I had a post before where I mentioned how I have triple awakenings. I said maybe it's my mind trying to trick me back into normal sleep.

hi i had a double awakening that i recall well.....i was dreaming something that was very vivid and seemed long running..exciting enough to wake me up! as i awoke i noticed my mom in the kitchen so i got up right away to tell her of my realistic vivid dream ..all the time she was doin the dishes and listening to my detailed dream..then everything faided..When i really woke up i went over the whole dream in my head ..like i am writing it but i can,t seem to remember the dream i was so dramatically telling my mom? .....When i,m lucid enough and i,m in an uncomfortable dream state..a trick i can sometimes use is i tell myself it,s just a dream and can cause no harm..then i physically try to pry my eyes open with my hands ..this seems to take quite a bit of energy...it usually puts me into another drean theme but can sometimes wake me up ..i know i must be semi lucid because i,m attempting to wake up from the sleep that i know i,m in

i've never had a flying dream. i've managed to levitate once or twice when i was lucid, but i've never had a normal dream in which i flew.

i've had multiple false awakenings. on one occasion i woke up (thought i did) and turned to write the dream down (keep my journal right by my bed) and my journal was full of paintings that i'd painted (but not really). then i woke up again, but was still asleep. when i finally did wake up i remembered three dreams but i was only lucid for the first.

for those of you who keep daily journals..do they show up in your dreams often?..does anyone use it as a dream sign to induce...the big L ?

i have dreamt that i woke up (false awakening) and recorded my previous dream in the dream journal. then i really woke up and saw that the recording was in a dream. i was mad and i didnt want to do it again.
