well, so yeah.. I'm going to attempt to LD tonight!
and, nice to meet anyone reading this post, first post here by the way, I'm not sure about educate on these forums, so I'm going to be really "grammar-tistic"
and also i assume that this is the right place to post this :D (EDIT: tada! i mess up, i should have posted in the newbie zone, right?)
so basically, i want tips on what i should probably do.
though i probably wont really LD tonight, since i haven't practiced dream recalling or checking... but I'll try!
details:
sometimes i dream without me being in the dream. like one time, there was just a burrito. in fact that was a few nights ago.
other times, something weird happens and I'm like "oh, its a dream." and i don't do anything to try and lucid dream, like I'm too lazy to do it -_-
and sometimes i don't dream. AKA, no dream recall.
so yeah, any tips?

:welcome: to Dreamviews!
Well, the Newbie Zone is usually where we post introductions and basic questions, but Attaining Lucidity is also fine. After all that's what you're asking about! :)

Have you tried looking over the dream recall tutorial (http://www.dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=6207)?
I hope this helped a little, if you have any other questions or I was unclear about something, feel free to ask! :)

Hi, saying that U probably won't isn't gonna help. It means that U don't expect to have one tonight..:(. U must change Ur thinking that U will have one tonight and the next night and the next..:).

Here's some good advice. Go to Borders or Amazon.com and buy "Exploring The World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge. It is the uber-guide to LDing, especialy for beginners. In fact, I had my 17th LD this morning using the MILD technique. Good luck!

thanks everyone for the support!
and zobey, thats funny, theres a borders right next to my house, I'll buy it next time i go there! (invader zim, heh)
i went to sleep like at 1-2am tonight...
but at the last minute i got some major Flem AKA, i got a mini cold, so i didn't sleep well tonight. so i woke up in the middle of the night and went back to sleep, so i had 2 dreams tonight.
first one i think i remember a minute of riding a bike like on a flash game called free rider, i guess because I've been playing it a lot lately. but i only remember a a flash of it, i don't know if i actually dreamed it, could be imagination.
my second one was basically me getting up from my bed, not being able to control myself, oddly enough, it was day, i guess my brain was good at fooling me, but 2 major things thats were that really stood out, one, i didn't pause to try and remember my dreams, and 2, when i got out of bed, i was seeing more green than anything else, i got suspicious, but then i just went back into a numbed brain state >_> and another reason why i might not have reacted much to that is that sometimes in real life, i do see more green than anything in some cases, like when reading, i guess thats because of my tired eyes.
one more cool thing is, my pet conure(mini parrot) was in that dream also.
I'll take everyones advice and start a dream journal and write them down, getting me one step closer to a lucid dream. :boogie:
