There are still dreams that I remember pretty well throughtout my life and i was wondering if could write them down as dream recalls aswell with the new ones or do I have to write down only the recent ones?

Use any and all! The important thing is to convince your 'self' that dreams are important to you and should be remembered.

the point is also to look for recurring signs in your dreams that happen a lot in yor dreams (i.e. light bulbs failing, meeting dead people, etc.) and to get into the habit of looking out for them until u do it in your dreams and realise yor dreaming.

The reason for writeing your dreams down (at least when you wake yourself up durin the REM state) is just to get a brief description of the dream so then later when you wake, you can check what your description was and remember your dream. Since you already remember that dream that you are talking about, you dont need to write it down, but just to write it to have it with all your other dreams is, of course fine :P

Usually when i wake up im more interested in falling back asleep. But i could see how it would help to write down a few key details in the dreams. For recalling later. The best time is the minute you wake from a lucid dream just sit and recall as much as possible then try and remember it all.

No! You MUST do it like we say: only the new onese!! It is imperative!
Just kidding. Kid, if you want to do something, don't ask other people, just do it! There is a reason you want to write down the old ones. That drive is called INTUITION. Go for it! Apply this to all things in life and you will become your best YOU. : ) There, that's all the advice I'm giving tonight. It's worked well for me. (Some people call it "following your heart").
Peace Out

P.s. if one of us had seriously told you no, would you have written out the old ones? you'll see most of us won't even claim to be able to interpret your dreams. this is all a very individual-tailored experience. go with the flow grasshoppa. : )

Sure, you can do what you like... I tend not to get in the habit of writing any dreams down later than a day after the fact -only because when I have more time to analyze and reflect on the dreams, my recall as to what happened gets warped because my memories of real experiences sometimes blend together with dream experiences... just another two cents.

Wow. Didn't realize it was so old...
I have been going through a few of the older posts since there have been few recent posts that have held my interest. I noticed there has been a lot of repeated stuff of late...
