View Full Version : Why do I find Neil Hamburger funny? Is there something wrong with me?

Neil Hamburger is an American comedian and stand-up. He shouldn't be as funny as he is. I wonder if there is something wrong with me. His entire stand-up routine consists of telling Question-Answer jokes, saying absurd things, insulting the audience and cleaning his throat, never smiling. Hilarious.

Is there something wrong with me? Does anyone else find this funny? I prefer this kind of comedy to the kind of low-life comedy where I can tell the punchline before they finished the build-up, which is, quite frankly, the case in a lot of acts. I'm tired to death of jokes about gender differences and the nature of politics. Neil rules.

That sounds like the kind of humour I'd like.

No there's nothing wrong with liking that kind of comedy,
