Hello I am new here ,I have been trying to preform wild for a week
now,I am a natural lucid dreamer and I had lucid dreams from age 14
(about 2-3 per month). But last week I had a new thing that happened to me
.I was very tired and did some relaxation techniques before bed(I wasnt even aware of the wild phenomenon) and after a while I started felling numbness, this numbness turned into full sleep paralysis to the point where I did not feel like I have a body(yet I was not dreaming) this was followed by a sensation of spinning and sinking until I got too scared and woke up.Since then I have been reading a lot about wild and trying to perform it (here in the forums and other resources)
but am not able to project myself into a dream for some reason.I am able to reach a full sleep paralysis very quickly and feel some sensation after a while yet I do not experience any HI or HS. I try to visualize different things when I feel the sensations but it seems they only last a few moments and Strangely I sometimes
feel too concentrated or too awake to sleep and when I just try to passively observe, my mind wonders of to other thoughts which distract me.
Also when I quit(after an hour or so) and change position, I fall asleep
instantly.

I need some help because I feel that I am so close and I have been growing
impatient to reach lucidity .

Any comment will be appreciated.

Never, ever try to WILD before you have already been asleep.

(Although it is possible to WILD in naps)

Yeah, WILDs right before bed = probably not going to happen. WBTB is your best bet. After about 5-5.5 hours is a good time to get up at, around then is your longest REM period.

I'd agree. Those are usually the symptoms of wanting to WILD so much that it's impossible to achieve. Also, no offense, but how are 2-3 LDs a month make you a "natural lucid dreamer." I know plenty of people that do not consider themselves experienced LDers and have the same amount of LDs.

I did not mean to consider myself experienced,I just pointed the fact that
I have been lucid dreaming naturally without actually trying to induce them.
it was just to let you guys know that I do know how a lucid feels like.I did not mean to boast my lucidity skills because I am quite aware that I am a novice.

As for wilding....

I have been trying wbtb and got very close to wilding

but I either lost my lucidity or fell asleep,I think I just need practice and I will nail it down.

Also a very strange thing happened to me , I was in bed trying to wild and fell asleep.
I was dreaming about trying to wild and actually making the transition and as I finished the
transition I woke up with a painful buzz in my head(followed by a high pitch sound)
this was very scary because it actually seemed to effect my brain...
I felt like I have done a lot of brain activity or something(like doing math for a long period).

anyone has ever experienced something like that?
