So, what creeps me out the most?
I love watching doctor shows [ER, Strong Medicine, House MD, etc.]. And I've seen/heard some crazy stuff about drug users and places they shoot up so they dont leave tracks. One time I heard of someone shooting into their eye!
The thing that creeps me out the most and seriously makes me want to vomit even just thinking about it, is needles [or sharp objects in general] going into my eye.

I absolutely hate when someone cuts someone else's achilles tendons. I can watch any of those gross things from the Saw series, but cut that tendon and I cringe.

Crawling insects. Nothing makes me shudder more than seeing a beetle, cockroach or centipede, or whatever, scurry across the floor. I don't have a problem with spiders though, which is weird. Maybe because I know they eat the other bugs?

Eww yeah the achilles thing is pretty disgusting ninja!
As for the creepy crawly bugs... :shudders:
I was driving to work one afternoon on a back road, and this gigantic... thing scurried across the road! It looked like an ant that was like two inches long!

Amputees really creep me out or atleast the part that is amputated
I know its not nice but i cant stand seeing a decapitated limb and i cant imagine what it would be like not having an arm or leg or missing a chunk of one "shivers"

I get really creeped out if I'm watching a horror movie or something and someone's face moves side to side really really fast... I'm thinking of Jacob's Ladder specifically. GAH. It's really scary to me.

I agree with ninja about the achilles tendons. That cracking sound! Ouch :(
Also, another disgusting thing is when people pop zits. Seriously, this guy in class popped one, then looked at me and asked a question. I looked over, and that big yellow glob with blood around it was pretty fucking big. Fuck man, that guy was a total idiot, but man did that beat everything.
It's like pooping in your hands, smeer it all over your self, and then ask your best friend a question about math. Just fucking weird and dumb. It's not like he didn't KNOW that he popped a zit.

I don't know why, maybe just because mine are really important to me, but seeing someone's fingers crushed or severed in a movie. I can handle most anything else, but when it comes to seeing somebody get their fingers deliberately burnt/cut/smashed off, it freaking creeps me out beyond compare. Man on Fire comes to mind. If it's just in a firefight or something, it's less of an impact, like in Smokin' Aces where the guy gets his fingers shot off, that didn't bother me. But torture, or accidental, or whatever, it really gets to me.
Same thing with the eyes.

Recommended creepy film for you: the Machinest (http://imdb.com/title/tt0361862/) with Christian Bale. It's not a horror film, but it has the best limb removal scene ever. Bale lost 60 pounds for this film, and looks like a skeleton.

It takes something truly dark to bother me, more the kind of thing you read in the paper than what you'd see on the screen. For me it's injury or death from sexual assault, and mothers drowning their babies.

Yeah, some of the torture scenes in these movies are pretty sickening.
I agree with the achilles tendon thing, especially knowing that, once cut, it actually snaps upward, through your lower leg, like a rubber band. God. Just the thought of me makes me cringe.
And open water freaks me out. It's weird because I'm not afraid of the ocean, per se, but when I really start thinking about the size of some of those creatures that live out there, and what many of them are capable of...that does it.

I don't like heights but I don't know if that counts as "creeped out".
Hrm like O said, water but only when stepping through water on a beach and I can't see where my feet are. I don't want to step on crabs or fish, makes me weird.
I don't mind insects or spiders but sometimes I don't like going through spider webs.

Ouch, I've got a poorly healed hairline fracture in one of my metacarpals on my left hand from a bad catch playing touch football. It's not fun. Though it's handy for predicting stormy weather... :D
And wow, those banana spiders look sweet! I want one now. Bugs don't really bother me. Cockroaches used to creep me out, but I grew out of it. Now the only bug that even comes close are these huge house crickets we get sometimes. They're the color of barf, tan and cream and brown, and they just look nasty. Still, they don't so much creep me out.
Heights are a bit iffy. I'm not afraid of being up high, but I don't much like it either. At anything over thirty feet or so, the ground starts looking at me funny, like it wants to get reacquainted in a hurry.

There's alot that can creep me out, but more than 70% of it is pretty much people suffering in the most painful, slowest ways possible. Seeing flesh move in a way it shouldn't is just plain disturbing. Other than that it's the psychos, and what they do, that make people suffer just for kicks or some other crazy purpose.
Oh, and seeing, hearing, feeling things that shouldn't be happening (i.e. whispers in an empty house).

Something that freaked me out beyond freaked out was when I decided to look up stuff about the surgeries to make a female into a "male."
There was this picture of this person with most of the flesh removed from their lower arm, to make a penis out of it. It was all red and dry looking, with white bones and tendons. Gahhh!
And this whole "suitcase handle" surgery which lead to weird tube-meat genitalia.
Then, turning "an enlarged clitoris" into a "micro penis" with all these nasty pictures of skin-peeled-back crotches!!:barf:
I had nightmares for weeks. That was the LAST time I indulged my surgery curiosity!

Eeyeh, that sounds painful. I went to catch the ball with two hands and it caught the very tip of my left ring finger straight on, and just jammed it back into my hand. It hurt like hell, but I didn't realize it had really done any real damage until it just never really stopped bothering me. So now it aches when it gets cold, or sometimes when an especially bad storm is coming. I can feel the bone off just a hair from the back of my hand.

Heights bother me, but i can see why i fear them, not had chance to destroy that fear yet, but i will eventually. Its the whole psychological nature of not trusting ourselves enough to look after ourselves at such heights, we then think of all the bad things that could happen and that on boosts our chances of falling and dieing. Heights are not my weakest but still there pretty scary.
Extreme violence can sometimes get me going, i mean in films its okay because you know that its not real. But i was linked to a video and was mislead into watching a video of a dead guy having his head cut off. Seriously, took me the whole day to get over that, it just creeped me out.
Another thing i hate is the moving of bodily organs, when i think of this whole black market for organs i feel creeped out. I know its beneficial to some, but where to you draw the line?
I hate spiders with a passion, last October sort of time we had a nest somewhere in the house and we had to catch like 10-15 house spiders a week. It was scary because i was constantly on edge and watching out for them. Me and my bro were in the room on our laptops and suddenly one popped out, then another came from under a chair so we decided to leave the room and as we left there were three on the wall. We actually caught about 4 in a day once, i hate them so much.

Ew omg that reminds me of when I first came home from college in May 2005... I was sitting on my bed talking to friends on my laptop and a HUGE spider ran across my bed! I jumped up, yelled and ran out into the living room all frantic, telling me dad to come kill it. He could have cared less, big surprise there. So I went back into my room and was practically in tears because I had no idea where it went to. I waited like 5 minutes before I sat back down. I didn't see it again, but I was so scared to sleep because I thought it was going to like crawl in my mouth while I was sleeping.

When the power goes out or the room is pitchblack and you go into a different room and your bro/sis/parent is in there and you think it could be something scary or a burglar. I don't whether to start thrashing or speaking to them when that happens.
Or when you try to to sleep and you start to hear things that even though you have rational explanation for it can't sleep because of it.
To me they are more annoying. But, my cousin says they are creepy.

 David Bowie is win incarnate. The creepiness you feel is your inferior mind shrinking before his immaculate visage.
It's a good song, too.

Oh, this is a great thread to read before going to bed!
Torture. Just the idea of harming another human being without just cause makes my stomach churn. Saw cured me of ever wanting to see another horror or horror-ish film without first being carefully scrutinized by a trusted panel of friends/family. Violence and gore is one thing, but gore for the sake of being gorey is just wrong. Wrong!
However, that doesn't necessarily include psychological torture... Sometimes that crosses the line, but it doesn't creep me out. Kind of facinating, really.
Oh, and I don't mind the dentist, but there are two things that always make me cringe. When you're getting your teeth drilled, that burning smell and rancid taste is far worse than how it feels. Give me the pain, but just don't make me taste/smell it! The second is whatever that little rubber thing they use. I don't know what it's for and I don't care. All I know is that I don't want the sound of rubber against teeth anywhere near me! :(

Everyone mentions being paranoid about their eyes. I just feel so much better when wearing glasses because it just seems like if I don't have them on that something simple could go wrong and I could end up damaging an eyeball. Even something like pushing the eraser end of a pencil against my face when thinking and having it slip. I just feel safer having some protection for such vital things.

I have trouble water skiing because of the water, I'm fine once I'm up but just being dropped in the water while the boat pulls away make me feel vulnerable. Tubing is more fun and takes less energy anyway.
I'm fine if there are other people in the water with me but just being alone makes it bad.

I've learned not to make fun of people who are scared of casual things like spiders, bugs ect. mainly becuase my friends reaction when i picked up a big spider and threw it at him:roll: he was rolling on the floor looking like he just saw death. i myself am pretty normal not alot creeps me out but one thing that im scared to death about would be to go blind the thought of it makes me sick. im not joking that would be the end of the world to me, not being able to see, barely getting to enjoy life. pure terror.

Oh yea Aceboy. When I was young, my mom took care (daycare?) of children, and they were always playing in the room, where I had my computer. One day, one of the parents came to get their kid. Earlier, one of them had put this rubber spider thing on my table. A big mofo, but never the less, easy to tell it was fake. When the parent had come to get her kid, I threw the spider on the floor, since it was in the way of my mouse. Then two minutes later, I heard the parent yelling "Arhh Susanne look there!!?!?" (Susanne is my mom's name) and I turned around instantly to see what was going on. The parent was scared to death, like, she wanted to hide or something. She pointed to the fake spider and yelled "It's giant, get it away!". She was nok faking, she was really really scared. My mom explained to her, that it was fake, but she didn't believe her, so I went over and picked it up. That convinced her :P
I must say though, that was quite the experience. I had no idea one could be so afraid of spiders!

I learned that lesson the hard way. When I was a kid I put a little rubber snake on the couch with my grandmother while she was sleeping. She woke up, saw it and damned near had a heart attack.

I had a roommate who was a big tough guy--ex football player, national guardsman. Whenever he saw a spider he would freeze up and scream like a girl until I came and saved him (usually by coaxing the thing into a glass or onto a piece of paper while he looked on in horror).

Something that's always creeped me out is the thought of lying, motionless on the ground, while ants, termites, wasps, and other insects crawl all over your body... oh God... terrible. Another, still scary thing is from a "would you rather" book: Would you rather be caught masturbating by your mother or catch your mother masturbating? It makes me shudder to think of it.

There are things that creep me out more, but scorpions are something that creep me out on a regular basis. They are always finding a way into my house, and I've been stung TWO times in my own bed. Those things are just fucking scary.
Also, swimming out in the ocean, like 60+ miles out is really scary, but it's a rush =O. I do that fairly often while fishing, after I start getting hot. The water where I live is pretty clear, so I usually spot a few sharks and it's one of the scariest things when they turn at you. Stingrays are scary as shit too...

Waking up in your bedroom hundreds of poisonous spiders in your bed and on the floor.
seriously though, I think the creepiest thing that I've ever done would be having my car stranded in the middle of the local national forest on a gravel road in the middle of the night. I had to WALK 10 miles to the nearest house to use a phone. The sounds that come out of those woods give me the creeps. They just didn't seem natural.

Catching my mother because maybe she doesn't see me... That would make everything less awkward...
