I Hate my bed! There is no way I can get a good rest. I always wake up in the middle of the night just to change positions. And when I wake up I feel horrible, with a sore neck, headhake and with lifeless limbs. I think this may also effect the way I dream.

Whats the best way you sleep?

I voted sideways because that's the position I usually wake up in, but I find it's easier to relax on my back. ;)

Have you tried sleeping on the floor? It's usually recommended for people with back problems, etc. Some of my friends sleep on the floor regularly, and they seem to like it. :D

Yeah I tried it and I woke up in the middle of the night to just want to get back to my own bed. The floor is just not what I'm used to.

I suggest you change your mattress or something, then. Or throw on loads of pillows and blankets.

On your back. It increases, dream recall, vividness, and lucidity. And it makes astral projection easier too . . . :)

Yah no, it's definitely different for everyone.. for example, I can't even attempt a WILD on my side, yet I've read some accounts on here that others have done it fine.

Just curious about the 'other' choice in the poll. What other position is there???

I'm experienced with every position. ;)

I think you mean "whatever tickles your fancy..." :P

No, but spooning rocks, comfortable and nice... although alone, sideways is nice. It seems i need to have whichever arm i am sleeping on stretched out under my pillow... I'm not that weird, shhh!! :P

on my stomach for me. when i was little i was able to sleep on my sideways, but now i cant seem to do that anymore. when i sleep sideways now, i feel like i have to use energy to keep my body upright and not fall down in order to sleep on my stomach.

I can't seem to sleep on my side....I fall over. Also, I used to sleep on my stomach, but I kept putting my right arm under my head so I'd wake up and my shoulder would kill me! I started to sleep on my back when the pain didn't go away for 2 days.

Pillows? thats the best ya can give me? I've tried the pillow thing, it doesn't work for me. I just hate sleeping in my bed. And the dreams that I dream because of that forsaken thing. Man ya should see my wall that my bed is up against, its full of holes from me hitting it while asleep. (What am I dreaming?) And theres no way I can wake up on the wrong side of the bed, because theres only one side to get out of. But it also give me limited space to move. Does anyone here have the bed located up against a wall or is it in the middle of the room?

My bed's against a wall, but I don't hit it in my sleep.

Have you tried sleeping somewhere else? Like the sofa for one night. Then maybe you can see if it's just your mattress that's causing the pains.

Yeah, tried the sofa, its a lot worse. And its not the pain, its no pain to sleep, its just the displeasure. I mean the whole expirience (Pardon my spelling) is just not great. I dont look forward to going to bed, because I know the effect I will feel in the morning. AND THE DREAMS THAT I DREAM ARE THE WIERDEST! Yeah, its the matress. Springs are not for me. maybe I'll try the new foam bed. Oh well. If this is what it takes to dream better.
